The Welfare Team
Foreword by Capt Alison Bunce
Dear Family and Friends,
The end of the year is drawing to a close, the Regiment has been incredibly busy this year with soldiersdeployed all over the world. We have subordinated from a Divisional Signal Regiment providing all thereal life support for the Headquarters to a Multi Role Signal Regiment under the command of 11 Signalbrigade. Everyone has had to work exceptionally hard and the Regiment has had a very successfulyear. It cannot be done without the support of the loved ones of the soldiers and for that I thank you.
The Christmas party season has already started and I hope you all enjoy the festivities and have arelaxing leave with you families. Coming back to a new year refreshed and ready for the coming yearschallenges.
I have left as your Unit Welfare Officer to work in the Regional Brigade Headquarters in Tidworth whereI am working with in the Rebasing team responsible for moving all the families in Germany that arereturning to the Saisbury Plain area.
I wish you all a safe and Happy Christmas and wish you all a very Happy and Healthy New year
Best Wishes

Dear Welfare Wobbles,Lately I have been having issues with my front door as the lock does not always work,do I need to pay for my own locksmith?
You can book the fault out with CarrilionAmey the numbers are the same as before you
would have received all the information on booking faults out with your welcome packwhen you moved in. Dependant on the fault and if it is a priority the contractor willcome and fix it within an allocated time slot. If the fault is not affecting the security ofthe property then it will be logged as a routine fault. You are free to call a locksmith ifyou wish but you will have to pay the costs and these cannot be reimbursed.
Dear Welfare Wobbles,I would like to re-decorate my kitchen, am I allowed to do so, and if so can I decorate ithowever I like?
As a licensee you are free to make the house your home but any changes you makewill have to be put back to the original speck as when you first moved in. for moreinformation have a look on the CarillionAmey website: www.carillionamey.co.uk
Dear Welfare Wobbles,My husband is away on exercise at the moment and I dont drive, but I need to get tohospital appointments will you take me?
Unfortunately the Welfare are unable to take Wives/Partners and dependants for
routine appointments due to insurance reasons there are however many good publictransport links to enable you to get to your appointments. For information on publictransport have a look at the Wiltshire council website:www.wiltshire.gov.uk/parkingtransportandstreets/publictransport
