The trapline follows the Mangorei track from the road end to Pouakai, 560m to 1200m

Traps were obviously interfered with, and the map shows where traps were sprung

Annual data analysis

As data accumulates, so the patterns of species distribution may be seen.

The stoats and weasels seem to be quite widespread across the altitudes.

Rats are everywhere. The most rats caught in one trap (9) was at a higher altitude, near Pouakai Hut.
