iQ HD Flex is the basis of all iQ HD player system packages.The system includes all the electronicequipment required to make your pianoplay on its own, e.g. 88 magnetic triggersto play all of the keys on the piano, amagnetic trigger to operate the right-handpedal and for grand pianos the set alsoincludes a metal cover for the electronicsas well as an elaborate lever system toensure that the functioning of the pedalsremains unchanged following installation.As a general rule, with PianoDisc wealways make sure that the piano beingused is only altered where absolutely

necessary (especially with regard to it's use as a regular acoustic piano). That iswhy all of the system components are attached to the parts of the instrumentthat do not have any significance in how the sound is produced – consequentlythe installation does not affect the instrument in terms of its sound or its value.The PianoDisc iQ HD series uses the patented SilentDrive HD technology thatenables your piano to play your favourite music at various volume settings andalways with full expression.

The iQ Flex system comes delivered from the manufacturer with five albums inMP3 format and four videos in MPEG4 format on a backup DVD. That way, thefirst five hours of listening pleasure are already taken care of!

iQ Flex and MIDIThere are two methods for playing MIDI files on your piano:

1. Transfer your MIDI data to the iQ system using the MIDI-IN connection

OR

2. Use the MusicConnect software supplied by PianoDisc to convert your MIDIfiles into the PianoDisc stereo audio format – you can then simply launch theplayback of the files from the audio device of your choice to start your pianoplaying.
