zoomzin automated loss prevention is an all-in-one solution that allows users to keep their common items found and managed with a simple application pairing a proprietary automated loss prevention algorithm, social media and radio frequency identification tagging with the latest smart phone technology.

As native technology for smart phone hardware evolves to support loss prevention and resource management solutions, it’s our goal to capture the early market position while building a following of committed and frequent early users, refining UX and constantly testing. We will also be providing an open API for developers to build unique loss prevention and resource management solutions on the zoomzin platform.

When it becomes commonplace for tablet and smart phone users to monitor where all their important items are, at home, in the garage, in the car, at school.... it will be the zoomzin interface they will see it on.

Currently, loss prevention technology is characterized by solutions that protect the loss of priority data and identification tagging. RFID technology is too expensive for day-to-day consumer needs, but smart phone providers will soon have native hardware to support this technology. Our solution will be ready to embrace this technology.

MARKET OPPORTUNITY

The market landscape for an easy to use loss prevention application that connects a person’s smartphone to their everyday essentials has enormous opportunity.

Over the next five to ten years, automated loss prevention will see rapid growth in the consumer markets as a result of rapidly evolving mobile technology hardware, compact RFID and resource management solutions such as Near Field Communication.

The market size of smart phone consumers is presently $24B with a reachable addressable market-space of $992M for an Automated Loss Prevention Application inside the US. Presently, there are a handful of small companies who have matched certain market needs, but at present there is no existing “all in one” application that allows a user to keep their common items found, managed and organized that we know of.

LeashingThese devices keep common items and a personʼs cell phone connected so when the leashing device gets a certain distance from the target (phone) an alarm will sound. Cumbersome, battery powered active RFID tags are paired with bluetooth or wi-fi.

Location FindersThese are hand held locating devices that help a person locate their lost, tagged items within a household. Similar to a television remote control, the device uses a “hot-cold” reading to let the user know the general direction of the target.

System ConnectorsAn example of this is the find my iPhone app where this free app allows iPhone and MobileMe customers to locate their lost phone through the use of the onboard GPS. The app also keeps any proprietary information protected while itʼs lost and keeps it secure until found.

Personal Organizer AppsThese are simple apps that help people to stay organized and record the common places you leave your items. Data is manually entered into the interface.

Probability ApplicationMarket deployment with a probability based automated loss prevention mobile application for Android, iPhone and iPad platforms.

Application maintains loss behavior data of the user, suggesting the location of the user’s common items, such as wallet, keys or glasses found by using a probability based user interface that encourages social interaction and reward based engagement for item recovery.

This base application will be an easy to use and scalable framework so that users can customize their future smartphone loss prevention experience with specific proprietary

zoomzin interrogator systems to suit their needs, be it mobile, household or business.

Application can be synchronized with Facebook, Google+, Twitter and FourSquare. Each social network serves a unique function in the recovery process.

Proximity ApplicationMarket deployment of Business to Business automated resource management product that pairs zoomzin with radio frequency identification.

Keeps the location of critical business items such as inventory, vehicles and resources recognized as on-site through the use of RFID proximity and paired with mobile application.

User Interface will host commercial specific user fields and characteristics that aid in management and loss recovery of resources.

Application maintains resource behavior data for the user, notifying when a resource is on-site.

The zoomzin corporate page will also have the ability to locate their smart phone if lost along with other unique loss prevention features.

The zoomzin website will offer an e-commerce resource for customers to purchase tags and upgrades to their application.
