Crayons are made of heated wax Then add the color dye Then they put the wax in a mold And last let dry
Crayons were use for graphic art in caves in the early ages (sometimes called cave dwellers).
No one really knows when the crayons actually invented.
But the Crayola company started in 1903By cousins Edwin Binney & Harold Smith.
Cousins Edwin Binney & Harold Smith created the non-toxic crayons with charcoal & oil
Later Binney’s wife Alice attached the French word for chalk “craie” with “ola” from the word oily to form the brand name Crayola.
