Although they seldom have a chance to learn about the invention field, they can enhance their creative thinking power by visiting research institutes and participating in various invention-related activities. Target: students from remote rural areas Duration and class size: a three-day course held four times a year for 30 participants per course. On-site Invention Course This course is tailored for participants with specific demands in invention education. The participants are not required to attend the Invention Education Center in the city of Daejeon; rather, invention teachers will visit a site nominated by the participants and help them focus on specific areas of interest. Target: the general public from anywhere in the country Duration and class size: a one-day (or more) course held 100 times a year for 40 participants per course. Invention Experience Course This course offers a variety of hands-on activities in the Invention Experience Pavilion. In the pavilion, participants can experience a wide range of inventive activities and tools. Target: the general public from anywhere in the country Duration and class size: a one-day course held at any time of the year. Invention Experience Festival This festival offers many exciting activities related to inventions. At the display booths, participants can enjoy experiencing inventions and participating in a variety of family contests. University students from various nations run the booths to give participants a practical experience of inventions. Target: the general public from anywhere in the country Duration: a one-day event held in May each year. Invention Camp for Students and Parents The camp was developed for elementary students and their parents. It helps them expand their basic knowledge of the invention field. During the camp, participants make interesting inventions, such as water rockets. Target: elementary school students and their parents Duration and class size: a three-day event held once a year during the summer vacation for 60 participants. Educators and Invention Promotion The aim of this course, which focuses on topics such as the policy of promoting student invention and basic theories of invention, is to help school principals and senior supervisors understand the necessity of invention. Invention Education CenterThe Invention Education Center was established in December 2005 with the goal of fostering creative and inventive individualswho will lead the knowledge-based society of the twenty-first century. In cooperation with municipal and provincial education agencies, the Invention Education Center nominates gifted students andteachers who excel in the field of invention and provides them with professional and systematic invention education. Thenominees are from elementary, middle and high schools, especially from school invention clubs and invention classes, all overthe country.In addition, the Invention Education Center earnestly endeavors to offer comprehensive support for invention education bydeveloping and disseminating a variety of invention education programs and materials.

Invention-Experience PavilionThe Invention Education Center has an Invention Experience Pavilion where students canfamiliarize themselves with various inventions. With 30 different tools, the pavilion givesparticipants an invention experience and helps them fulfill their dreams of being an inventor.
