1. Vegetables are important for our nutrition.

2. Vegetables are important to the economy of our country.

Through horticulture we obtain much of our food.In the newspaper we can find grocery store ads about food.

Drip Irrigation is one way technology has improved vegetable production.

It helps to produce more uniform plants and wastes much less water by dripping just the right amount of water at the base of each plant.
