THE TESTTEST SUBJECTS 5 people (2 male, 3 female), ages 19-21

TEST ITSELF Each subject took each scoop and tested them on a gallon of ice cream answered questions as they go on a scale of 1(bad) to 5(great). The questions were: - Comfort while scooping? - Comfort while ejecting ice cream? - Ease of ejection? - Aesthetics of tool? - Appeal of the final scoop of ice cream? - List the points of discomfort in the hand.

WHAT WE LEARNEDAfter testing, the Pro Fresh scoop was by far the best scoop overall. Some of the

characteristics that we learned are important in a scoop are: Easy Ejection, Comfort of Grip, and Well Balanced Leverage. Things that do not matter to consumers as much as we thought are: Appeal of Scoop and Aesthetic of Tool. Moving forward with the

project, we plan to design an ice cream scoop that meet all these important requirements, is cost-efficient, and has that WOW factor needed to seperate our scoop apart form the rest.
