The fasting of the Virgin Saint Mary

� As we talk last week about the childhood of virgin Mary until the holy

Virgin Mary was out of the temple at the age of 12 years to live in the

house of saint Joseph.

� After the angel told the Virgin Mary that Elizabeth was pregnant in her

old age the Virgin Mary traveled from Galilee to Judea to serve Elizabeth

and she remained with her 3 months. Then the holy virgin Mary went back

to Nazareth.

� After about 6 months, Ceasar ordered to Subscription . The holy Virgin

Mary went with Joseph on its ninth month to Bethlehem where Jesus was

born and circumcised on the eighth day and after forty days Jesus was

presented to the temple and the Holy Family stayed about two years in

Bethlehem until the king Herods ordered to kill children of Bethlehem in

order to kill Jesus Christ.

� The angel appeared to saint Joseph in a dream and told him to take the

boy and the Virgin Mary and flee to Egypt the Holy Family stayed in

Egypt, about 3-4 years and they came back to the land of the Jewish and

settled in Nazareth, Galilee, where he worked saint Joseph carpenter and

Jesus is assisted in his work .

� The Holy Family went to Jerusalem every year to the Temple and when

Christ had 12 years he had stayed in the temple.

� Joseph died when Jesus was about 16 years .

� Our Lady was with the Lord Jesus Christ through out his life in the

wedding of Cana of Galilee interceded for the people of the wedding.

� The Virgin Mary followed Jesus until the cross and at the cross Jesus

Christ has given us Virgin Mary As a mother for all of us when he said to

beloved John, Behold, your mother. And he gave us children for her when

he said, Woman, behold your son. Then John from that time took the holy

virgin Mary to his own, until she Departed then Jesus Christ and the

orders of the angels with Him, and took her soul. She was about 60 years

old and buried three days after the angels came and took her body to

heaven.

تحدثنا في ا$سبوع الماضي عن طفولة السيدة العذراء حتي خروجھا من الھيكل في سن . الثانية عشر من العمر لتعيش في بيت يوسف النجار

بعد ان بشر الم9ك السيدة العذراء و اعلمھا ان اليصابات نسيبتھا حامل في ابن شيخوخاتھا ل الي اليھودية و ظلت مع اليصابات ث9ثة شھور لتخدمھا؛ ثم فأسرعت العذراء من الجلي.بعد ذلك رجعت الي الناصرة

كتتاب ؛ فذھبت مع يوسف النجار وھي في اEبعد حوالي ستة أشھر صدر أمر من قيصر بو بعد اربعين . الشھر التاسع الي بيت لحم حيُث ُولد السيد المسيح و ُخوتن في اليوم الثامن

في الھيكل وظلت العائلة المقدسة حوالي سنتين في بيت لحم حتي صدر أمر يوما ً قدم ھيرودس الملك بقتل أطفال بيت لحم سعيا ً وراء قتل السيد المسيح؛ فظھر م9ك الرب

و مكثت . ليوسف في حلم و أمره أن يأخذ الصبي و السيدة العذراء و يھرب الي مصرث الي أربع سنوات رجعت بعدھا العائلة المقدسة العائلة المقدسة في مصر تقريبا ً من ث9

الي أرض اليھودية و أستقروا في الناصرة بالجليل حيث كان يعمل يوسف نجارا ً و السيد .المسيح يساعده في عمله

كانت العائلة المقدسة تذھب كل سنة الى اورشليم لتعيد بالھيكل ولما كان السيد المسيح .الھيكل ببقيعمره أثني عشر عاما

. توفى يوسف النجار وكان عمر السيد المسيح حوالى ستة عشر عاما

سYنة وبعYد دفنھYا بث9ثYة ايYام جYاءت 60وكYان عمرھYا حYوالى . الم9ئكة واخYذا روحھYا .الم9ئكة واخذت جسدھا الى السماء
