THE EDWARDIAN GAZETTE
Dear Parents, Students & Community Members First and foremost, welcome to this Special Edition of The Edwardian Gazette, which rounds up the Vol-ume 1 series, 35 Issues in all. Being a Bumper Issue this publication consists mostly of a gallery of photo-graphs reflecting College life throughout the scholastic year 2010-2011. I sincerely hope that you have enjoyed reading this year’s Gazettes as much as I have enjoyed creating them. As from next week we shall be starting over with the new series of Gazettes. Volume 2 will be packed with College news, activities, events and much more. Any contributions to our Gazette are always welcome, all help and support is always very much appreciated. As from next month we shall be issuing a new addition to the College publications entitled, the ‘SEC IB Paper’. While all main IB activities and news will still be published on ‘The Edwardian Gazette’; the new ‘SEC IB Paper’ will encompass all aspects of the IB Diploma Programme including IB Head, (Ms D Inglot) Students’ and Teachers’ contributions. For all those wishing to contributing to ‘The Edwardian Gazette’ and/or ‘SEC IB Paper’, there are several ways in which to do so; these will be further explained in the following Gazettes. The following positions are currently available for any interested candidates: Sub-Editor - Sub-Photographer - Sub-Reporter. Last but certainly not least, I trust you would all like to join me in giving a very warm welcome to our new Headmaster - Mr George Bowery. I take this opportunity to wish him all the best of luck and a very posi-tive work experience here in Malta. I hope this will be a very rewarding and fruitful journey that will bring mutual benefits and one that will ultimately make our College one of the best both locally and internation-ally. A warm welcome also goes to all the new teachers and administrative staff, we hope that you will experi-ence cooperative and friendly association with the rest of the staff, students, parents and all community members.
