JUDY SULLIVAN – Instructional Coordinator
My name is Judy Sullivan, and I have been a teacher for 39 years. I earned my degree in education from David Lipscomb University and later a masters from Cumberland University.
I have taught all grade levels K-5 during my teaching career, one year at West Memphis Christian School, one year in Memphis City Schools, and three years at Boyd Christian School before coming to Morrison. In my 34 years at Morrison I have taught 13 years in first grade and 12 years in second grade. For the last seven years I have had the pleasure of being the Instructional Coordinator and working closely with our wonderful principal, Kim Cantrell, all the teachers and staff, and the entire student body. We are a family! I have enjoyed being involved in the Go Green Club, the MES Climate Team, Choir, and Jr. Drama in addition to my duties. You probably remember me in afternoon car pick-up line, and I hope I have made you smile! I have been married to Don Sullivan for almost 40 years. We have one daughter, Delanie. Don and Delanie are pharmacists at Sullivans’ Hometown Pharmacy. Don, Delanie, and my parents, Titus and Lottie Ward, have been huge supporters and volunteers of both Morrison School and in my classrooms throughout the years. Many of you were once students here and remember those experiences! In addition to teaching, I love reading, swimming, animals, and travel. My love of travel was inspired by my former teacher, Arrie Mae Smith. I hope that like her, I have instilled the love of learning and travel within my students! I will miss the school and all of you when I retire in June, but I will see you at ballgames, Fall Festivals, and when I volunteer at Morrison!
Has your upcoming
Kindergartener or 7th grade child had his or her shots? The state of Tennessee requires the TDAP (combined Tetanus, Diptheria, and Pertussis) plus a 2nd Varicella (Chicken Pox)
vaccine for entrance into 7th grade. Students must have proof of immunizations documented on the new "Tennessee
Department of Health Certificate of Immunization" form which is completed by a healthcare professional.
Please go ahead and have your child vaccinated now.
