1. ANTHONY DOYLE It is not known when Anthony Doyle was baptized or who were his parents. It is most likely that his family been in Enniscorthy, County Wexford, Ireland for several generations. There are other earlier Anthony, Andrew and Patrick Doyles in the records. But unfortunately the earliest available records for St. Aidan's Cathedral starts at 1794. A map showing the town of Enniscorthy in Wexford, Ireland, it is near the bottom part of this map. Templeshannon is to the right of Enniscorthy on the map.

~ by 1837 Anthony Doyle married JULIA O'SULLIVAN by 1837. That is base on the year of the first baptism of their children. The marriage entry was not found. In the baptisms records she is mostly listed as Sullivan rather than O'Sullivan.

~ Possible Sullivan relatives or ancestors Base from Valuation and Griffiths records (see below) we see that Anthony Doyle is leasing his property from a John Sullivan. Since Anthony's wife was Julia Sullivan, it is possible that this John Sullivan could be her father or brother. The following shows some earlier Sullivans in Templeshannon. ~ 1877 and 1880 In 1877, Andrew T. Doyle applied to become a Naturalized citizen of the United States on 15 October 1877 . He was granted citizenship at the Court of Common Pleas for the City and County of New York held in the Court House of the City of New York, on the 7 day of Oct 1880 by Hon. Charles H. Van Brunt, Judge. Note that he applied in 1877 and three years later in 1880 he was granted citizenship, while the requirement is that he was in the U. S. for five years. So this suggest that he was in the U.S. for two years before applying. So Andrew and his family immigrated to the United States in 1875. From the New York, State and Federal Naturalization Records:
