KAREN HOHead of Corporate and Community SustainabilityKaren works on mainstreaming sustainable practices across supply chain and apparel businesses and oversees low-carbon programmes offering a holistic approach from pre-assessment to data monitoring and ESG reporting. Karen is an accomplished senior executive with proven track record of international business development in several Fortune 500 companies prior to joining WWF-Hong Kong.
DR DAVID OLSON Director of Conservation David has extensive experience in conservation strategy development, protected area management, biodiversity surveys, field research, community-based conservation, illegal wildlife trade and anti-poaching programmes, and endangered species conservation. David has worked on conservation projects in more than 50 countries. He joined WWF-Hong Kong in January 2019, from Cameroon where he was Country Director for the Zoological Society of London (ZSL). He has a PhD in Zoology from the University of California Davis.
DR LAURENCE MCCOOK Head of Oceans Conservation Laurence has more than 30 years’ experience in oceans conservation, including on coral reefs in Australia, Indonesia and the Coral Triangle, the Pacific and Caribbean, as well as temperate ecosystems. He has worked with international bodies such as the United Nations. Laurence’s work in China aims to strengthen management of coral reefs and tropical marine habitats. He has a PhD from Dalhousie University, in Canada.
DR ERIC WIKRAMANAYAKEDirector of Wildlife & Wetlands Eric has more than 25 years’ experience leading conservation projects across Asia with WWF’s Conservation Science Programme. As Senior Conservation Scientist, Eric provided technical assistance and served as the science lead in WWF’s ecoregion and landscape conservation programme in Asia before becoming Chair of the Board of Directors of the non-profit Environmental Foundation Ltd in Sri Lanka. He has a PhD in Ecology and Conservation Biology from the University of California Davis.
JEAN-MARC CHAMPAGNEHead of Environmental FinanceJean-Marc guides thematic research and green financial product initiatives. He focuses on originating and arranging direct project-based investments in Asia which includes the establishment of the Climate Impact Asia Fund. Prior to joining WWF-Hong Kong, he worked in the investment banking industry for 17 years. He graduated from Clarkson University, in Potsdam, NY.
BRIAN V. GONZALESHead of Protection of Endangered SpeciesBrian has 20 years’ experience in project development and technical assistance management, conservation and enforcement policy, and programme monitoring and evaluation. He has led projects to raise institutional and policy response to wildlife trafficking. He holds a master's degree in Management of Development from the University of Turin, Italy. Brian is an member of the IUCN World Commission on Environmental Law.

OUR CENTRESCorporate and community groups are welcome to join eco-guided visits and activities at the three WWF centres. Corporate membership provides various discounts for visits and activities. We need corporate support for community ticket packages to enable schools and disadvantaged community groups to enjoy our activities. An easy to use booking system is available online.
MAI PO NATURE RESERVELocated on the north-western corner of Hong Kong, the Deep Bay wetland complex is among Asia’s finest locations for wetland biodiversity. It is a renowned haven for migratory birds and a Ramsar site.
Since 1983, WWF has actively managed the 380-hectare reserve, continuously developing research and education facilities while carrying out extensive conservation work to maintain the wetlands.

Hoi Ha Wan was one of the first designated marine parks in Hong Kong. Its coral community is one of the best in Hong Kong, with a huge diversity of marine life.
Hoi Ha Marine Life Centre is a premier marine educational facility, which organizes visits and educational programmes for schools, youth, corporate and community groups.
ISLAND HOUSE CONSERVATIONSTUDIES CENTRE
Built at the beginning of the 20th century as the former official residence of the New Territories’ district commissioners, Island House now is a declared monument. It serves as WWF's education and conservation centre, promoting environmental and cultural heritage education.
