The COVID-19 Global Pandemic began in December 2019 and by March 2020 had caused the closure of international borders

around the world and had heavily impacted global travel.

Marsh Harbour arrivals include Cherokee Sound and North Eleuthera numbers include White Crown.

The Easter holiday weekend is normally a huge time for travel to the Bahamas. Arrivals to the island would have been

heavily impacted in March 2019 by the fact that the Easter Holiday weekend fell completely in April 2019 and not in

March. For many Universities in the USA, Spring Break normally falls in March or April.

In 2019 and 2020, Easter fell in April instead of March.
