The attacks on pearl harbor from the Japanese naval force were a surprise to the united states.

It happened at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii on the morning of December 7, 1941.

The United States responded to the attacks by launching the War on Terror: it invaded Afghanistan to depose the Taliban, who had harbored al-Qaeda terrorists.

How did The U.S Respond To 9/11

Page 7: The attack on 9/11 and Pearl Harbor

Since they declared war on Japan which started WW2 the United States bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki which caused a lot of damage to both cities.

Within the first two to four months of the bombings, the acute effects killed 90,000–166,000 people in Hiroshima and 60,000–80,000 in Nagasaki.

What Did The U.S Do To The Japanese

Osama bin laden was the one who planned the whole 9 11 attack and his terrorist group the al-Qaeda did too and the al-Qaida did the hijacking.

There was 19 hijackers all of them committed suicide killing themselves and other innocent people.

Who Planned 9/11

Japanese refer to their emperors by the emperor's renal name rather than by his given name. Thus Emperor Hirohito is known as the "Showa" emperor after the name of his reign

He was the one who sent his naval force to bomb Pearl Harbor.

Who Planned Pearl Harbor

What Was Used In the Attack Of Pearl Harbor

Page 14: The attack on 9/11 and Pearl Harbor

I am of East Indian descent, from Trinidad and Tobago (fourth generation). At the time of 9/11 I lived in New Jersey and commuted to NYC to work on First Avenue and Houston.

After 9/11 I was very nervous about going into the City, as nervous as everyone else. I was particularly affected by the fear of leaving my home that enveloped me on a daily basis.

You see, although I come from a country in the Caribbean, Americans thought I was Iraqi, Pakistani, you name it.

Racism Of 9/11

Page 15: The attack on 9/11 and Pearl Harbor

The U.S made camps for Japanese or Asian people so they don’t cause harm to the city of Hawaii. Despite the fact that most people who were Japanese were against their own country.

Racism Of Pearl Harbor

Page 16: The attack on 9/11 and Pearl Harbor

I think that both attacks were awful and they were both racist related so I think what Afghanistan and Japan got they deserved don’t you?
