Aryan Paper Mills

• Aryan paper mills was started in 1992 to manufacture recycled kraft paper.

• This was the first step in our backward integration plan.

• Today, Aryan paper mills is a world class plant matching global standards of

emission controls & manufacturing capacity of 150 tonnes/day using state of the


emission controls & manufacturing capacity of 150 tonnes/day using state of the

art technology.

• The plant is also self reliant for its power needs with a 2.1 MW captive power

plant.

• We recently concluded our capacity expansion & technology upgradation plan by

installing a German made Beloitte paper plant using twin wire feed in technology.

Aryan Packaging Industries

• Aryan packaging industries was established in Mumbai in 1956 as a small manual

corrugated box factory by our late founder Shri Krishnalal Shah.

• Over time, as the demand for our quality products grew, we had to shift to a

strategic new location to allow for expansion. Keeping various factors in mind, we

shifted our manufacturing to Vapi, Gujurat.


• From those humble beginnings, we have grown slowly but steadily, with our

guiding values intact, to today, where our packaging division comprises our hi-

tech, ultra modern corrugated carton manufacturing machinery:

Auto case maker machine:

In lieu of the growing demand for our quality packaging products & keeping in

mind the customers’ ever increasing requirement for impeccable quality, speed of

production & just-in-time inventory requirements, Aryan Packaging Industries

introduced the Apollo auto case-maker machine to its range of quality production

machinery in July 2011.

The auto case-maker enables us to complete the following tasks on one machine with

practically zero human intervention:

• Printing – 4 colour high quality in-line printing

• Slotting – punching work as per packaging design

• Folding – shaping the box as per dimensions

• Gluing – auto gluing ensuring even spread of glue with minimum leakage

• Sunil K. Shah – Managing Director & Head, paper division

Sunil is a bachelor of electrical engineering from Mumbai & is the person responsible for setting up the

groups paper division in 1992 & consolidating, modernizing & expanding the group companies since 2001.

He is a passionate technocrat & his grasp over machines & technology, in particular for the paper industry,

allows him to seamlessly implement several hi-tech plans for the company. Sunil sets the vision & strategy

at large for the group.

• Rajen K. Shah – Head, packaging division

Rajen holds an MBA degree from the University of Mumbai. He heads the corrugated packaging division &

looks after macro issues such as customer relations, production efficiency & management, etc.

• Mihir R. Shah – Group head, operations

Mihir is a bachelor of production engineering & an MBA from S.P.Jain, Mumbai. This unique combination

gives him the skill set required to both manage the operations from a business perspective as well as from

a technical perspective. Mihir seamlessly oversees the day-day operations of the group.

Ashok has a masters degree in commerce & an ICWA certified cost accountant. His work experience spans

over 15 years ranging from accounts, secretarial, taxation, costing covering all aspects of administration &

finance . Ashok is the group general manager for finance.

A career spanning over 38 years in Sales & Marketing – 23 years in FMCG industry in various positions and

the last 15 years in Corrugated Packaging Industry in senior positions, Rajan heads the marketing &

Param is a bachelor of electronics engineering from Mumbai University. Param enjoys building & fostering

new partnerships & starting new ventures. Param looks into marketing & new business development.

• Over the years, we have invested our efforts in several fields to conserve the


environment:

– Electro Static Precipitator (ESP): One of the first paper mills to introduce an ESP to control air

pollution, our emissions are in line with European standards of fewer than 50 gms.

– Bio-mass based steam generation: Once again, a pioneering first for the industry, we use a bio-mass

briquette based steam generation plant to meet the steam requirements of our packaging division.

– 100% water recycling at Aryan Paper Mills. Zero discharge.
