Overview

Since 1981, in a small village in Bosnia-Herzegovina named Medjugorje, the Blessed VirginMary has been appearing and giving messages to the world. She tells us that God has sent Her to

our world, and these years she is spending with us are a time of Grace granted by God. In Her

own words She tells us, "I have come to tell the world that God exists. He is the fullness oflife, and to enjoy this fullness and peace, you must return to God".

Our Lady's mission is one of peace and love. She has come to earth to reeducate us and to helpus convert and recenter our lives back to God. Our Lady's role has always been one of guiding

people to Her Son, Jesus. What an amazing opportunity we have before us! Our Lady's call toconversion is urgent, and we should respond with all our hearts.

Our Lady continues to give messages to six people from the village of Medjugorje: Ivan, Jakov,

Marija, Mirjana, Vicka, and Ivanka. These six people (referred to as "visionaries") have receivedapparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary since June 24, 1981. In addition to Her public messages,

Our Lady is to give each of the six visionaries a total of ten "secrets" or happenings that willoccur on earth in the near future. Some of the secrets pertain to the whole world while others

concern the visionaries themselves or the local village. Only one of the secrets has so far beenrevealed by the visionaries. In the third secret Our Lady has promised to leave a supernatural,

indestructible, and visible sign on the mountain where she first appeared. Our Lady said: "This

sign will be given for the atheists. You faithful already have signs and you have become the

sign for the atheists. You faithful must not wait for the sign before you convert; convert

soon. This time is a time of grace for you. You can never thank God enough for His grace.

The time is for deepening your faith, and for your conversion. When the sign comes, it will

be too late for many."

When each of the six visionaries has received all ten "secrets", Our Lady will stop appearing tothem on a daily basis. Currently, Marija, Vicka, and Ivan have received nine secrets, and Our

Lady still appears to them every day, wherever they are, at 5:40pm during daylight savings time,and 6:40pm the rest of the year. Mirjana, Jakov, and Ivanka have received all ten secrets, and

Our Lady appears to them once per year, and will do so for the rest of their lives. For Ivanka whoreceived her 10th secret on May 7, 1985 it is on the anniversary of the apparitions, June 25 each

year. For Jakov who received his 10th secret on September 12, 1998, it is on Christmas day eachyear. And for Mirjana who received her 10th secret on Christmas 1982, it is on her birthday,

March 18 each year. Our Lady has also been appearing to Mirjana on the 2nd of each monthsince August 2, 1987 for the purpose of praying for all unbelievers. Mirjana tells us that it is very

important that all of us pray for the unbelievers in the world, who are described as those who

have not yet experienced God's love. Sometimes these appearances on the 2nd of each month areapparitions, and sometimes locutions. No one knows when Our Lady will give the tenth secret toMarija, Ivan, and Vicka.

Once Our Lady has stopped appearing there will be three warnings given to the world. These

warnings will be in the form of events on earth. They will occur within Mirjana's lifetime, andMirjana will be a witness to them. Ten days before each of the warnings, she will advise the

priest she chose for this task (Father Petar Ljubicic), who will then pray and fast with Mirjana for

seven days. Then, three days before each warning is to take place, Fr. Petar will announce to theworld what, where, and when the warning will take place. Fr. Petar has no choice, and must

reveal each warning. After the first warning, the other two will follow in a rather short period oftime. That interval will be a period of grace and conversion. After the permanent, visible,

supernatural, and indestructible sign appears on the mountain where Our Lady first appeared in

Medjugorje there will be little time for conversion. For that reason, the Blessed Virgin invites usto urgent conversion and reconciliation. The permanent sign will lead to many healings andconversions before the secrets become reality. According to Mirjana, the events predicted by the

Blessed Virgin are near. By virtue of this experience, Mirjana proclaims to the world: 'Hurry, beconverted; open your hearts to God.'

The ninth and tenth secrets are serious. They concern chastisement for the sins of the world.

Punishment is inevitable, for we cannot expect the whole world to be converted. The punishmentcan be diminished by prayer and penance, but it cannot be eliminated. Mirjana says that one of

the evils that threatened the world, the one contained in the seventh secret, has been averted,thanks to prayer and fasting. That is why the Blessed Virgin continues to encourage prayer and

fasting: "You have forgotten that with prayer and fasting you can ward off wars, suspendnatural laws."

In addition to this basic message, Mirjana related an apparition she had in 1982, which sheds

some light on certain aspects of Church history. She spoke of an apparition in which satanappeared to her, and asked Mirjana to renounce Our Lady and to follow him. By doing so she

could be happy in love and in life. He added that following Our Lady would only lead tosuffering. Mirjana rejected him, and immediately Our Lady appeared and Satan disappeared.

Then Our Lady gave Mirjana the following message in substance:

"Excuse me for this, but you must realize that Satan exists. One day he appeared before the

throne of God and asked permission to submit the Church to a period of trial. God gavehim permission to try the Church for one century. This century is under the power of the

devil; but when the secrets confided to you come to pass, his power will be destroyed. Even

now he is beginning to lose his power and has become aggressive. He is destroying

marriages, creating divisions among priests and is responsible for obsessions and murder.

You must protect yourselves against these things through fasting and prayer, especially

community prayer. Carry blessed objects with you. Put them in your house, and restore the

use of holy water."

Since the apparitions began in 1981, approximately 40 million people of all faiths, from all over

the world, have visited Medjugorje and have left spiritually strengthened and renewed. Manybring back stories of miracles in the form of healings (of mind, body and spirit), supernatural

visual signs, and deep conversions back to God. You owe it to yourself and your loved ones, toinvestigate with an open mind and heart the messages which are given to us by Our Lady of

Medjugorje. I invite you to read these messages and decide for yourself how they will affect yourlife and that of your family.

Our Lady's messages are meant to be assembled like a mosaic. To understand the full meaningand depth of these messages, we need to study all of the messages She has given us over these

almost 30 years. "By means of the messages, I wish to make a very beautiful mosaic in yourhearts."(November 25, 1989). Our Lady has asked that we continually read, study, and

meditate on the messages which she has given us. She said: "Little children, read every day

the messages I gave you and transform them into life. I love you and this is why I call you

to the way of salvation with God."(December 25, 1989).

The technique of teaching which Our Lady uses, reeducates us to be Christians. Sheaccomplishes this by walking with us, and guiding us step by step, message by message. Today,

many people think it is not important to be a Christian. Others want to live a superficial form ofChristianity which is easier or more convenient than living a true Christian life. Our Lady wants

to show us through Her messages the real face of Christianity. This is a long process because weas a society have strayed far from the truth and God and are slow to learn. This is true both in the

Church and outside the Church. We have to accept being totally reeducated, little by little, by theMother of God. The problem with mankind is not so much that people have bad intentions; there

are plenty of good hearted people. The problem is that we sometimes don't see the truth; we arein darkness, and many of us are just blind. We do not realize that we have put ourselves into the

hands of satan because we do not know how to tell the difference between right and wrong.Many of us become an image of satan without even knowing it.

I don't think that anyone could argue, regardless of religious orientation, that today's world is in a

state of crisis. All one has to do is read the newspaper or watch television to be see how erodedthe morals of our world have become. It is shocking to see and hear the examples of inhumanity,

cruelty, violence, abuse, drugs, war, crime, etc., etc. Much of the world has strayed far from alife centered around God and family. The answers which we need to redirect our life can be

found by reading and living Our Lady's messages and the Scriptures.

"You are ready to commit sin, and to put yourselves in the hands of satan without

reflecting."(May 25, 1987)

"Do not allow satan to gain control of your hearts, so you would be an image of satan andnot of me."(January 30, 1986)

"Children, darkness reigns over the whole world. People are attracted by many things and

they forget about the more important."

"Light won't reign in the world until people accept Jesus, until they live His words, which

is the Word of the Gospel."

"Dear children, this is the reason for my presence among you for such a long time: to leadyou on the path of Jesus. I want to save you and, through you, to save the whole world.

Many people now live without faith; some don't even want to hear about Jesus, but they

still want peace and satisfaction! Children, here is the reason why I need your prayer:

prayer is the only way to save the human race."(July 30, 1987)

We must realize that Satan is real. He uses us for his own end and purposes. His main purpose is

destruction. Destruction of love, peace, faith, family, and life. Just as God gave David 5 stones

with which to defeat Goliath, Our Lady is also giving us 5 Stones or Weapons we can use todefeat satan. They are:

Daily Prayer (Of the Rosary) Fasting on Wednesdays and Fridays (only bread & water) Daily Reading of the Bible Monthly Confession Holy Communion

We must realize that Our Lady's plan is for the entire planet, that this war is a war of love againstdestruction, and that Our Lady's goal in this struggle is the reign of love, and the return of souls

to God.

Our Lady tells us that our personal role is "Great". We cannot do enough to live the messages.We must be willing to abandon ourselves completely. When put in proper perspective, our

homes, our money, and our businesses are not nearly as important as gaining eternal life in

Heaven after this life.

Matthew 16:25-27"Whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for mysake will find it. What profit would a man show if he were to gain the whole world and destroy

himself in the process? What can a man offer in exchange for his very self?"

Claims of medical cures

Relevant to determining the supernatural character of an apparition site would be any miraculouscures that take place. In July 1987,Newsweekmagazine declared that "already 290 miracle

healings [in Meugorje] are under study by Catholic physicians."

The first cure to occur at Meugorje is said to have taken place on the fifth day of theapparitions, June 28, 1981. A three-year-old boy named Daniel Setka was supposed to have been

brought to the place of the apparition and commended to the Madonna. As the story goes, hiscondition was extremely serious: he was unable to walk, speak or even hold his head up.

Electroencephalogram scans revealed that the child experienced "paroxysms" at the rate of threeto five per second, and the conclusion was a combination of spastic hemiparesis and epilepsy. On

the evening of June 28th, he was carried up the hill toward the site of the apparition by hisparents. One of the visionaries, when presenting the boy to Mary, called out, "Please make a

miracle so that everyone will believe us." The visionaries reported that for approximately aminute Mary stared with great mercy at him, then said, "Let [his parents] firmly believe that he

will be healed", and then concluded with, "Go in God's peace." Following the apparition, the firstsign of a healing took place: at dinner the boy slapped the table and declared, "Give me a drink."

The following day, still unable to walk, he was taken again to the place of the apparition, andabout halfway up the hill he began to walk under his own power. As he gained more strength

ascending the hill, he began speaking words and then climbed atop a rock and called out,"Mama, look, I'm walking!" His full healing would be declared complete that same day.

Another reported cure was a case compiled by the University of Milan's Specialist Clinical

Institute. The case involved an Italian woman named Diana Basile, a mother of three who haddeveloped advanced multiple sclerosis, an incurable disease. By 1983 she was completely

incontinent, shaking uncontrollably, completely blind in her right eye, unable to raise her right

arm and capable of walking only with a shuffle when aided by others. She traveled to Meugorjeat the invitation of a nurse at the clinic and managed to enter the room where the apparition wasto take place. At the time of the apparition she suddenly became completely unaware of her

surroundings. Instead, she viewed past episodes of her life, many of them previously forgotten.As the apparition ended, she stood and exited the room with the visionaries, walking normally.

By the following morning she was cured of incontinence and blindness in her right eye; by thetime she returned home, every sign of her illness had disappeared.

At least two people who have claimed healings in Meugorje were medical doctors. One, ageneral practitioner from the Philippines, had contracted breast cancer that had recently

metastasized. While in Meugorje she prayed the Stations of the Cross on Mt. Krizevac, and at

the 12th and 13th stations received a "spiritual healing." The spiritual healing was accompaniedby a physical cure, because when she arrived back in the Philippines, all signs of her cancer haddisappeared. The other doctor was an Italian pediatrician with a life-threatening ulcerated colon

and abscessed fistula. The family prayed in Meugorje for a cure in the fall of 1984, while heprayed in Italy for the first time in years, he said. He promised Mary that if he were healed he

would travel to Meugorje himself. That night the fistula closed and he was cured.

Perhaps the most celebrated cure came to Vicka, one of the six visionaries, who mailed a letter tothe bishop's commission investigating the apparitions (as well as a letter to her confessor and the

priests of Meugorje) indicating the exact date she would be cured of an inoperable brain tumor.Devotees claim that she had "swelling of the joints resulting in high fevers and coma" and that a

brain tumor was subsequently diagnosed. Seven months later, on September 25, 1988, she asked

the letters to be opened by the recipients in the presence of two witnesses. The letter stated thather brain tumornot a punishment from God but a gift to aid in the conversion of soulswouldbe miraculously healed on that date, September 25. Her tumor is reported to have vanished on

that date.

Other teams of doctors from Italy, Poland, Austria, England and the United States would studythe children. Dr. Luigi Frigero, the doctor who supervised a team of doctors from Milan's

Mangiagalli Clinic, concluded that the results "cannot be explained naturally, and thus can beonly preternatural or supernatural."

Scientific Studies

Study by Dr. Henri Joyeux

Dr. Henri Joyeux, a cancer researcher, headed a team of scientists from the University ofMontpellier 1 (a French university). He made video and audio recordings of more than 35

reputed apparitions and conducted a battery of tests searching for either a hoax or fraud. Amongthe many tests performed by the team were brain, vision, hearing, voice and cardiac function

tests, using electro-encephalographs, electro-oculographs and other scientific devices.

Dr. Franois Rouquerol, an ear, nose and throat specialist who accompanied the Montpellierteam, saw no reaction to 90 decibels of engine noise directed into the ears of the visionaries

during the apparition, an indication of a "disconnection of the auditory pathways during theecstasy. Dr. Bernard Hoarau, a heart specialist, conducted experiments that eliminated the

possibility of epilepsy.The tests of a neurologist, Dr. Jean Cadhilac's, claimed to be able to

"eliminate formally all clinical signs comparable to those observed during individual or

collective hallucination, hysteria, neurosis or pathological ecstasy,

In the spring of 1985, Dr Joyeux concluded: "The ecstasies are not pathological, nor is there anyelement of deceit. No scientific discipline seems able to describe these phenomena."

The Electro-Encephalogram was administered to Ivan on June 10, to Marija on October 6, and

Ivanka, October 7 all in the year 1984, in Medjugorje. The purpose of this test is to trace therhythms of brain activity with eight diagrams that are attached to eight electrodes that are

attached to eight different points on the skull. Wakefulness is illustrated by alpha waves on thediagrams, and the state of sleep or of dream by beta waves. The test lasted about 30 minutes for

each of the visionaries, including before, during and after the apparition. Not at any time did Ivandemonstrate the state of sleep or dream. He remained in the alpha rhythm throughout the entire

test.

When the tests were given in October to Ivanka and Marija, beta waves were apparent before the

apparition began, especially with Marija, but from the beginning of the apparition, the alpha statewas observed, progressively increasing throughout the time the visionaries were ecstasy.

Although this was only one test, it was an important one because it eliminated false hypotheseswhich would have led them down many dead-end roads. The results from the electro-

encephalogram eliminated the possibility of the visionaries being epileptic, hallucinating, orwere asleep or dreaming. With all three visionaries, there were no signs of cerebral abnormalities

nor any pathological symptoms.

Bottom Line

- The Visionaries are not epileptic, hallucinating or in a dream-hypnotic stateduring the apparitions.

- During the apparition experience, they are not affected by very loud noise intheir ears.

Study of Vision by Dr. Phillippott Using an Electro-Oculogram

When tests administered earlier in the year in Medjugorje showed that the eye movement of thevisionaries stopped during apparition, the doctors wanted to do testing on the synchronizations of

the visionaries eye movements at the moment and during the apparition. Ivan and Marija

participated in this test. An electro-oculogram records eye movements. They discovered thefollowing:

At the beginning of the ecstasy eye movements stopped almost simultaneously.

During the ecstasy only muscular movement associated with speech was in evidence; the eyesremained immobile

At the end of the ecstasy eye movement reappeared again with almost perfect simultaneity.

Thus, the phenomenon of simultaneity is associated both with the ending of the eye movement

and with its restarting.

Bottom Line

- At the beginning of the ecstasy, the visionaries eye movements stoppedalmost simultaneously. During the apparitions, their eyes remained

immobile. At the end of the apparitions, eye movements reappeared again

with almost perfect simultaneity.

Study of Ivankas Voice and Larynx Function by Dr. F. Rouquerol

Place & Date of Testing: Medjugorje, December 28, 1984

In an attempt to find out why and how the visionaries

voices became inaudible from the moment ecstasy began,Dr. Rouquerol investigated Ivankas voice and larynx. He

found that:

During the recitation of the Rosary before the apparitions

began, the needle indicating that the larynx muscles wereworking moved up and down the scale.

When ecstasy began and the voice became inaudible, the

needle stopped and the larynx no longer moved. The lipscontinued to move, as the visionary spoke to the apparition; but no sound was registered on the

equipment.

When the voice returned to normal on the third word of the Our Father, the needle movedagain; and ceased when the voice disappeared again.

As soon as the apparition had gone and the visionary began to speak normally, the movements

of the larynx returned.

What they concluded was that at the time the visionaries voices disappeared in the apparition,this was connected to the fact that there was no movement taking place of the larynx. Though thelip movement remained normal, the act of breathing out, which normally would cause the vocal

cords to vibrate, did not produce this normal result. Hence, no sound came from the visionaries.This was surprising to them to discover, because they hear themselves and each other just as

normally whether they are in or out of ecstasy.

Bottom Line

- Once the apparitions begin, during the first 2 words of Our Father, thelarynx muscles of the visionaries stopped working. Though the lip

movement remained normal, the act of breathing out, which normally wouldcause the vocal cords to vibrate, did not produce this normal result. Hence,

no sound came from the visionaries.

Study by Dr. Maria Frederica Magatti

Place & Date of Testing: Medjugorje, February 3-4, 1984 and March 22, 1984

Test or Procedure: Dr. Maria Frederica Magatti performed a clinical analysis of an apparition

that she observed on February 3-4, 1984 in Medjugorje. She studied the visionaries response tovarious stimulation, such as calling, touching and pinching. A cine-projector of approximately

1000 watts was shined into their eyes to see if the size of the pupils changed.

Conclusions: According to Dr. Magatti,

We are dealing with ecstasy because during the events (the young people) lose contact with thesurrounding world; they remained insensitive to stimulation: calling, touching, pinchingno

response, not even an indication of pain in the case of pinching. A cine-projector ofapproximately 1000 watts was played on their eyes without causing any modification in the

diameter of the pupils. Their eyelids continued to blink according to their natural rhythm.Blinking occurred spontaneously if their faces were touched.

Dr. Magatti also studied the body movements of the young Medjugorje visionaries. Ivans arm

was raised during ecstasy. She observed that there was no resistance, and that his arm returned toits original position when it was released, by what looked like a voluntary movement. While

kneeling, Jakov was lifted off the ground and his legs straightened out giving an appearance thatthey were hanging without muscular control. When lowered back down, he immediately returned

to a kneeling position, apparently by a voluntary movement.

There are two divisions of the autonomic nervous system. The sympathetic system responds to

stress, when it speeds the heart rate, increases blood pressure, and generally prepares the bodyfor action. The parasympathetic system is more important when the body is at rest, since it slows

the heart rate, decreases blood pressure, and stimulates the digestive system. With thevisionaries, the heartbeat remained the same and there was no indication of perspiration or tears.

The only motor activity observed was voluntary, in particular the movement of the lips during

conversation with the apparition.

The testing demonstrated that the visionaries were not cataleptic, which is a symptom of certain

nervous disorders or condition and includes rigid body and limbs, limbs staying in the sameposition when moved, loss of muscle control and slowing down of bodily functions. During the

apparition there was no noticeable change in the vegetative nervous system. This is the part ofthe nervous system that controls those functions not controlled voluntarily, including the heart

rate, activity of the intestines, and the production of sweat.

From the results of her testing, Dr. Magatti testified that,

we can deduce the absolute neurological normality of the visionaries in spite of thesuspension of their consciousness of relationship with the exterior world.

Bottom Line

- During the apparitions, a very bright light was shined into the visionarieseyes. It had no effect on the diameter of their pupils or on the blinking rate

of their eyes.

- During the apparitions, the visionaries remained insensitive to stimulation:calling, touching, pinchingno response, not even an indication of pain in

the case of pinching.Study by Dr. Lucia Capello

Place & Date of Testing: Medjugorje, February 5-6, 1984 and March 23, 1984

Dr. Lucia Capello was present at the apparitions on February 5-6 and March 23, 1984, inMedjugorje in which she observed Ivan, Jakov and Marija three times, and Vicka and Ivanka

once.

Conclusions: Dr. Capello made many of the same observtions as Dr. Magatti. In particular shenoted in her report what she observed as the three synchronizations, or rather three

simultaneous key movements during ecstasy:

1. The visionaries drop to their knees at the same time, their voices become inaudible while theirlips continue to articulate.

2. The voices of the visionaries become audible at the same time, on the third word of the Our

Father, the apparition having recited the first two. There is no evidence that would lead to the

conclusion that the visionaries orchestrated the timing nor can there be an explanation that ithappened through natural causes.

3. The eyes and heads are raised at the end of the apparition in a near perfect simultaneous

action; the word ode meaning She is going away, which is uttered by one or a number of

visionaries, cannot be taken as a signal; sometimes it is not pronounced at all; other times it ispronounced simultaneously by a number of the children.

Of the three synchronizations, the first one, according to Fr. Laurentin, could possibly beattributed to natural causes, although this is not to say that it is, but the second and third ones

have no natural explanation. What is observed, then, indicates that there is something being seenonly by the visionaries that the observers cannot see while attending the Medjugorje apparitions.

Bottom Line

- When praying during apparitions, the visionaries droped to their knees andtheir voices became inaudible at the same time.

- On the third word of Our Father, the visionaries voices became audible atthe same time.

- The eyes and heads were raised at the end of the apparition in a near perfectsimultaneous action.

The apparition of June 10, 1984.

Professor Joyeaux arrived in theMedjugorje the day before, only

to discover that the visionarieswere refusing to be tested.

Despite Fr. Laurentin &Professor Joyeauxs persuasive

arguments to convince them tocooperate, they were adamant

due to Our Lady saying onanother occasion that the tests

were not necessary. Jakovsettled the debate by suggesting

they ask Our Lady in the

apparition. To everyonessurprise, Our Lady gave them

permission.

On October 7, 1984, afterinitially resisting the testing,

Ivanka is hooked up to anelectro-encephalogram in order

to study her brain waves before,during and after the apparition.

Along with this test, theystudied whether putting an

object in front of her eyes wouldhamper her vision in the

apparition. She continued to seeOur Lady despite the obstacle.

Marija patiently suffersthrough the multiple

attachments that will test herbrain waves during the

apparition. During ecstasy,Marija never left the alpha

stage, which is the conditionfound in a contemplative and

calm prayer. If one could have

told 20-year-old Marija that20 years from this momentshe would be asked to submit

to this same test during herongoing apparitions of the

Virgin Mary, she no doubtwould have looked with

stunned disbelief, not becauseof being tested again, but

because of Our Ladycontinuing to appear to her in

the apparitions all those years.

Dr. Joyeux and his team fromMontpellier Hospital in France

made the long journey toMedjugorje, with the latest

technology, in order to test notonly the Medjugorje visionaries,

but to look at the ecstatic stateas never before. It was an

exciting opportunity, but one inwhich there was a sense of

urgency as there was noguarantee that the apparitions

would continue from day to day.Here the doctors set up their

instruments in the rectory of St.

James Church where thevisionaries would come for theapparition.

As with many of the tests, the scientists useddifferent mechanisms to simulate conditions to test

the reaction of various senses of the visionaries,such as hearing, sight, and touch. With the eye test,

a bright light was flashed in their eyes duringecstasy, but they did not blink or wince or show

any other reaction. Also, using an electro-oculogram, all the eyes of the visionaries moved in

perfect timing with each other at the beginning andend of ecstasy.

Ivan arrives for the apparition on the 24th

Summary of the Scientific Studies

- The Visionaries are not epileptic, hallucinating or in a dream-hypnotic stateduring the apparitions.

- During the apparition experience, they are not affected by very loud noise intheir ears.

- At the beginning of the ecstasy, the visionaries eye movements stoppedalmost simultaneously. During the apparitions, their eyes remained

immobile. At the end of the apparitions, eye movements reappeared again

with almost perfect simultaneity.

- Once the apparitions began, during the first 2 words of Our Father, thelarynx muscles of the visionaries stopped working. Though the lipmovement remained normal, the act of breathing out, which normally would

cause the vocal cords to vibrate, did not produce this normal result. Hence,

no sound came from the visionaries.

- During the apparitions, a very bright light was shined into the visionarieseyes. It had no effect on the diameter of their pupils or on the blinking rate

of their eyes.

- During the apparitions, the visionaries remained insensitive to stimulation:calling, touching, pinchingno response, not even an indication of pain in

the case of pinching.

- When praying during apparitions, the visionaries dropped to their knees andtheir voices became inaudible at the same time.

- On the third word of Our Father, the visionarysvoices became audible atthe same time.

- The eyes and heads were raised at the end of the apparition in a near perfectsimultaneous action.

To all the die-hard skeptics

To all the die-hard skeptics out there, what more do you want? What further proof

do you need? Do you honestly want to wait till the tribulation starts before you

even begin the process of conversion?

In the third secret Our Lady promised to leave a supernatural, indestructible, and

visible sign on the mountain where she first appeared. 5 of the 6 visionaries

confirmed they would be alive when this happened. Our Lady said:

"This sign will be given for the atheists. You faithful already have signs and

you have become the sign for the atheists. You faithful must not wait for the

sign before you convert; convert soon. This time is a time of grace for you.You can never thank God enough for His grace. The time is for deepening

your faith, and for your conversion. When the sign comes, it will be too late

for many."

On top of all the other proofs, if the visionaries were truly liars and cheats, it would

be very foolish of them to make such an outrageous claim.

In the words of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle :Once you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how

improbable, must be the truth.

"We played the pipes for you and you wouldn't dance; we sang sad songs and you

wouldn't cry."

Summary of the Medjugorian Apparitions

Our Ladys main message is a call for conversion first of ourselves and then of

others.

Furthermore, she mentions 5 important ways we can make a difference and help

defeat satan:

1) Prayer2) Fasting (Wednesdays & Fridays on bread & water)3) Holy Communion4) Monthly Confession5) Daily Reading of the Bible

Now, even if you are someone who believes (if it were possible) that the

apparitions are demonic in originat the very least you must agree on the

significance of the 5 messages above.

I could say Judge a tree by its fruits, however not everyone would be convinced.

I will say this instead:

Regardless of your point of view, if you agree that the apparitions are supernatural

in nature, then I suggest you convince as many people as possible to follow the

spirit of Our Ladys messages i.e. Bible, Confession, Communion, Fasting,

Prayer (B-C-C-F-P).
