the Advent Candle of Joy. We will be having our Christmas Dessert

Theater in the place of Evening Worship this evening. Please see this

Local Missions Opportunities

Christmas Dessert Theater– Thanks to everyone who has had a part in our

Christmas Dessert Theater this weekend. Thank you to all who attended last

night. Our final show will be this evening at 6pm. Please see Troi at the

Welcome Center to see if there are any available seats for this evening.

“Just In Case” Christmas Offering - We will have a special prayer over

the “Just In Case’ Offering this Wednesday beginning at 6:30pm. We will then

head out to hand these blessings out around our community. If you did not have

a chance to give last week, you may still do so this morning.

Angel Tree - Thanks to everyone who is sponsoring one of the “Angels”.

Please have the wrapped gifts turned in to the office with the angel by

Wednesday, Dec. 19th so that they will be delivered in time for Christmas.

Couples’ Marriage Retreat - There will be a Couples’ Marriage Retreat for

all ages on Feb. 14th-16th, 2019. The retreat will be held at the Charleston

Harbor Resort and Marina. The cost for Thursday & Friday night, including 2

lunch meals, will be $285.00 per couple. The cost for any couple wanting to

come down on Friday evening will be $150.00, which includes 1 lunch meal. Please

sign up by Jan. 1st if you plan to attend.

Old Sunday School Literature Wanted– Anyone with old Sunday School

literature can place it in the cardboard box near the choir room. The material will be

shipped to English speaking countries overseas.

Just In Case

SideKicks’ Christmas Fellowship– SideKicks are invited to sign up for

our Christmas Fellowship being held on Dec. 15th at 5pm. Please indicate on

the sign-up sheet if you would prefer to have chicken or steak to eat for dinner.

If you choose steak, please indicate how you would like it cooked. We will also be having

a White Elephant Gift Exchange that evening. If you are participating, please bring a

man’s or a woman’s gift between $10 - $15.

O.C.C. Charlotte Trip - Those who are going to The Charlotte Processing

Center for O.C.C. tomorrow need to be in the church parking lot at 6:00am.

Mary Lynn will let you know if we have to postpone due to the weather.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service– Invite your friends and family to join

you at our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service on Dec. 24th at 10pm.

Baby Dedication – Congratulations to the family of Liam Rivers Pigge on

his Dedication to the Lord. Liam is the son of Andy & Erin Pigge. He was

born on August 17th, 2018.

WMU Meeting - We will have our December WMU Meeting and party this

Tuesday, Dec. 11th at 6:30pm.

Cookies with Santa– We will have Cookies with Santa after our Wednesday

evening service on Dec. 19th. Families are asked to bring cookies or a finger-food.

Please sign up if you plan to attend.

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering – We will take up The Lottie Moon

Christmas Offering during the whole month of December. This offering helps to

support international missionaries who are spreading the love of Christ all over the

world.

Christmas Cards - If you have Christmas cards for church members, you may

place them in the mailbox at our Welcome Center. Mr. Jimmy Bradley will be

collecting and sorting the cards. They will be available on Dec. 23rd for each

family to pick up so please have yours in by that morning. A list of members’

names will be available. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Jimmy.
