Welcome to Takino where the splendor of Hokkaido’s four seasons can be enjoyed!

Spring when flowers appear all at once

Summer with fresh greenery

Breezy autumn Snowy winter

* For details, see Guide to Takino Snow World.

The Park Bridge, which is a symbol of Takino Park, welcomes approximately 600,000 visitors every year.

Takino Suzuran Hillside National Park, which is Hokkaido’s

only government-managed park, is situated in a quiet forest

approximately 50 minutes’ drive from downtown Sapporo.

Bird, plant and other nature observation, cycling, camping and

other activities can be enjoyed in an extensive natural setting,

including the Ashiribetsu-no-taki (Ashiribetsu Fall), which is the

origin of the name of Takino. Seasonal flowers await the

visitors in the Country Garden, where a rural landscape typical

of Hokkaido spreads. In winter, sledding, skiing, snowshoeing

and other snow activities can be enjoyed.

Be sure to visit Takino Park where the splendor of Hokkaido’s

changing seasons can be experienced with the five senses.
