Spring of Eternal Youth

Displays show many of the flora & fauna, landscape and geological features, folk customs, archeological specimens, and development stages of Bihoro. Please go through all the exhibits, which display photos, panels, taxidermy, and artefacts. You will be impressed by the huge diorama, which gives you a feeling of being present in the landscape.

Toge no Yu Bihoro is located along Route 243 in a farming area against a backdrop of mountains. The dome-shaped roof is easy to find.This spacious facility is built of logs. There are some souvenir shops where you can buy local products.Deep fried potato (“ageimo”) and bush bamboo (“kumazasa”) soft ice cream are served only here, on the 1st floor. On the 2nd floor, you will have a fine view of Lake Kussharoko, and see some mementos from the drama “Kimi no na wa” (“Your Name”) and Hibari Misora’s autograph.
