Scheduling Requirements

Spec Section 01 32 16 – Construction Progress Schedule

The Contractor shall employ or retain the services of a full-time, onsite Senior

Project Scheduler who shall have a minimum of 10 years verifiable experience

in construction. Recommend the Scheduler be on board before NTP to be

familiar with the specifications and meet submittal deadlines.

Cost and resource loaded 180-day schedule is due within 60 days following

NTP. Full baseline is due 180 days after NTP.

Summary Schedule of Values is due 30 days after NTP.

Every activity containing labor shall be cost and resource loaded.

Procedures and Construction Progress Schedule

District will pay up to 0.5% of the contract amount each for the 180-Day

Schedule and Baseline Schedule Approval.

Because the value of these schedules to the District diminishes with late

schedule delivery and acceptance, the following limitations apply:

180-Day Schedule – payment amount reduced by 10% for each month beyond 95

days after NTP that schedule acceptance is received.

Baseline Schedule – payment amount reduced by 10% for each month beyond

180 days after NTP that an acceptable schedule is not received.

• The Contractor shall employ or retain the services of a qualified Synchro Planner who shall have demonstrated experience in developing Synchro Projects on projects of at least $100 million unless otherwise approved by the District.

• The Contractor shall utilize the Baseline Construction Schedule and Synchro Project in planning, scheduling, coordinating, and performing the work under the Contract (including all activities of Subcontractors, equipment vendors, and Suppliers).

• An updated Synchro Project linked to the current progress schedule submittal shall be submitted with the Progress Schedule update.
