Operation of Fabric Ducting & DiffusersPrihoda products are usually acting as both supply air ducting (air transfer) as well as air distribution/diffusion intothe occupied zone. We supply both types of system, (1) positive pressure distribution systems (supply air) and (2)negative pressure (extract /return air) ducting for exhausting air from rooms.

    1.

Air outlet from a diffuser1.1.Supply air (see V below) owing into the diffuser through either end or an inlet spigot, can exit the diffuser in anof the following methods:

A - through the permeable fabric materialB - through microperforations either 0.2mm or 0.4 mm laser cut holes in the fabricC - through perforations laser cut holes with a diameter greater than 4 mmD - through fabric nozzles see chapter 5 for more detailsE - through an adapter/outlet spigot air is diverted to another system/areaF- through an outlet end air leads to another system/area

Fabric Diffusers are a universal air distribution tool and cover the entire range of air delivery patterns. Weachieve the requested air distribution by selecting the correct air outlet method. We can combine the airoutlet methods on a single diffuser duct in any pattern or ratio we wish.

Airow Travel Distance from Fabric Diffusers

    Uniformmicroperforation

    DirectionalmicroperforationPerforationNozzle

Supply air is delivered through fabric diffusers using almost any diameter of laser cut perforation in any position onthe duct circumference. This combination of any size and position of perforations provides an almost innite numberof design variations. The range of possibilities begins with low velocity diffusion and continues up to long-distanctargeted air supply. Small perforations with a diameter of 0.2 or 0.4 mm, which we refer to as microperforationsare designed mainly for use as low velocity air diffusion. We use a series of 4mm diameter or larger holes, whicwe call perforations, to provide directed air supply. When calculating the air travel distance, the supply air to roomtemperature difference must be considered.

Travel distance varies depending upon available static pressure and temperature difference.

The air velocity at various distances from the diffuser can be calculated by our in house design software which ibeing constantly rened and takes into account all associated design inuences. These include specically, positivepressure in the diffuser, position and dimensions of outlet openings, and temperature difference. In cases where theair velocity cannot be reliably calculated by the software (due to complex interaction of multiple air ows for examplewe can provide these calculations by means of our Fluent software.

Airow patterns created by PRIHODA design software

In general, Prihoda Fabric Diffusers operate at similar air ow velocities to traditional ducting. The maximum spewithin the duct is dictated by aerodynamic noise in relation to the place of use. A further velocity limitation may bneeded due to ow turbulence, which can cause vibration of the fabric. Specic conditions of ow, static pressure andweight of the fabric used must be taken into account.

T TRIANGULARThe triangular shape is maintained by placinga heavy weight at the bottom of the duct tomaintain tension on the walls of the material.

We also make fabric transitions to adapt and join different shapes together.

In the case of Square and Triangular ducts the shape partially deforms upon duct ination, due to positivepressure or negative pressure and the exibility of the material.

Sizes and DiametersWe manufacture fabric ducting and diffusersof all dimensions from 100mm to 2000 mm, eachdesigned to specic requirements. The duct inletsand connection spigots are always manufactured

10-15 mm larger than the specied size/diameter forease of connection.

    Standard manufacturing dimensions (other sizes are available):100, 125, 160, 200, 250, 315, 400, 500, 630, 710, 800, 900, 1 000, 1 120, 1 250, 1 400, 1 600, 1 800, 2 000

LengthDetermining the length of Fabric Ducting & Diffusers depends primarily on the availability of space. We can manufacture a fabric diffuser to deliver the same air volume whether the duct is short or long, the precisedesign depends on the material type, perforation designs and system pressure.

    CUSTOMARY PARTS & LENGTHS

    - Individual parts are connecting with zippers; the number of zippers (or the distance between them) is exible andcan be specied by the customer

    - Only the overall length in mm (A + B + C) is provided in the specication, the ducting and diffusers are separated isegments during production.

The ducts have dimensions (A) or (B) depending uponshape, please see the chart above or the table below.

PressurePressure losses of Fabric Ducting & Diffusers are verysimilar to those in the traditional ducting. Calculatinga more complex fabric distribution system is achievedusing similar methods to those for sheet metal ducting. The minimum static pressure necessary to keep thecorrect shape of a Fabric Duct or Diffuser depends uponthe weight of the fabric used. A minimum of 20 Pa issufficient for light materials and 50 Pa necessary formedium and heavy ones. The pressure distribution alongFabric Diffusers is different from traditional sheet metalducting because with declining airow longitudinalvelocity decreases. To verify the design of your fabricdistribution system, please contact us.

Membrane DiffuserThis combines two types of diffuser into one. The membrane ap is a lightweight non permeable material sewn aalong the duct length. The membrane is attached to a two position motor. In heating mode the motor moves themembrane to cover the cooling diffusers located at the top of the duct, the supply air exits the heating perforationson the bottom of the duct. In cooling mode the motor moves the membrane to cover the heating perforations at thebottom of the duct and the cool supply air leaves the perforations at the top of the duct. The membrane allows twototally different diffusion styles in one duct.

    heating cooling

FLAP:Used for switching between the two modes. It is made from either standard or ame retardant material, depending upon the duct specication; the internal spigot and external frame are made from galvanized steel. The length is always 400 mm. The ap includes a 220 V or 24 V servo motor.

    membrane cooling microperforations

    heating perforations

DIFFUSER:The membrane always covers one half of the diffuser and leaves the other open to supply air.

PLEASE NOTE:- Maximum longitudinal velocity 6.0 m/s (risk of damage to membrane at higher velocities).- Only for round cross-section ducts.

Negative Pressure (Extract) Ducting Fabric Ducting for removing airWe supply these only in square or triangular cross-sections. Because taught fabric is essential for extract ducting wetension the walls using a combination of suspension proles, tensioning bolts and threaded bar. Air is drawn into theduct through perforations that can be positioned on any side and anywhere along the length of the duct. To ensureequal extract rates we can adjust the perforation diameters or the gaps between the perforations progressively along

the duct. We anticipate our negative pressure ducts will be used where regular and/or thorough cleaning is required.Negative pressure fabric ducting is easily disassembled from the suspension system and unzipped into smallerwashable parts. If PMI or NMI material is used, the ducting will have both ame retardant and antibacterial propertie(impregnated silver).

    Insulated Ducting

Used for decreasing temperature loss during transferof conditioned air to the diffusers. A 40mm thick, loose bre, insulating polyester material is sewnbetween two layers of fabric ducting material. Allof our fabric ducting materials are available for useas the outer layer of the insulated duct allowing aneasy match with other parts of the system. Themanufacturing process compresses the original40mm loose insulation layer by 20mm, reducing thenished product wall thickness. The maximum ductheat transfer coefficient is 1.8 W/m2/K. Insulatedduct is manufactured as standard in 2000mm zippedlengths and starts from 250mm upwards. Insulated

ducting also acts as an excellent noise dampener, absorbing and reducing in duct noise vibration, contact us for specic details.

Adjustable Length Fabric DuctEight adjustable tie belts are sewn along the length of the circular duct.By adjusting (tightening or loosening) all eight belts, we can manually adjustthe duct length to suit the installation requirements.IMPORTANT NOTES:- An adjustable duct with the maximum length of 1500mm can be reduced to500mm.

    - The diameter of the adjustible section must be increased by 25% to maintainpermissable acceptable P.

    - Only available for circular ducts with a diameter greater than 250mm.- Only from PMI, PMS, NMI, NMS, PLI, PLS, NLI, NLS materials.- Adjustable ducts cannot be manufactured with enlarged cord suspension.

    Adjustable Bend

Shortening a particular belt turns the bend in that direction. The nal bend angle is achieved by adjusting the beltson certain sides of the duct to their appropriate lengths.

Placing two adjustable bends together makes it easy to avoid unmovable obstacles.

Eight adjustable tie belts (same as in adjustable length) are sewn along the length of the circular duct.

    Tensioners

Screw tensioners slide into the prole are used to remove wrinkles and creases in the fabric. The exibility of the fabrallows it to stretch by up to 0.5%. Pre-stretched diffusers are therefore manufactured 0.5% shorter than speciedand the true length is achieved when tensioning. The installation procedure is specied in the assembly instructionsincluded in all deliveries.

    Signicantly improve appearance

    Nozzles

Nozzles make it possible to deliver air at greater distances than perforations. Range can exceed 20m depending uponstatic pressure and temperature difference. Nozzles can be xed, adjustable or directed. Each of the nozzles hasa very similar visual design; the adjustable nozzle may be directed as desired up to 45 using four belts which arehidden beneath an aesthetic fabric hem. An adjustable damper is sewn into every nozzle to allow variable ows.

The Damper is a short cone made of perforated fabric. The inlet of the damper is normal duct diameter whilstthe outlet can be adjusted to a smaller diameter, byuse of an adjustable belt. Maximum opening of thedamper outlet results in zero pressure loss, whilstfully closing the outlet provides the highest localpressure drop. The damper setting can be adjusted atany time by opening a zip on the duct circumference.By Installing a damper part way along the duct onecan equalise the static pressure within the duct andtherefore the air owing from each point along theduct. We also use dampers to provide ow controlthrough Fabric Nozzles and outlet spigots to otherparts of a system.

Diffuser for Intensive CoolingFor cooling applications with a t 6 k we recommend using horizontal air patterns from the Fabric Duct. This cbe achieved by placing the micro-perforations in a band on either side of the duct at 90 and 270. The horizontaairow pattern must achieve a specic speed in order to prevent premature downward deection. With sufficientoutlet speed (provided by static pressure) it is possible to introduce 1 kW of cooling capacity per 1 m duct length, whilst maintaining a velocity below 0,2 m/s in the occupied zone. The air ow patterns are detailed in the illustrationbelow, please contact our authorized representatives for specic applications.

Defrost Damper Faster and more efficient cooler defrosting5.13.

The Defrost Damper (DeDa) collapses over the evaporator fan face, blocking off the front of the cooler, this stopunwanted fan rotation and speeds up the process of defrosting.

    a) Whilst the fan runs the damper is open and supply air is owing, although the air volume is slightly reduced by thdamper. The precise reduction in volume depends upon the airow curve of the fan and the construction of thedamper.

    b) When the fan stops, the damper deates and hangs down over the fan spigot. This stops fan rotation, where movingair still passes through the cooler, rotating the fan blade, which creates a faster and more efficient defrost cycle.

    1) We utilise a special fabric for defrost dampers, designed to provide a good covering of the fan spigot and an inbuilresistance to ice build up (hydrophobic treament).

    2) The Defrost Damper is connected to the cooler by a textile clamp or metal strip. If the defrost damper requires atransition or adapter to t to the cooler fan, these are not included but can be supplied for each specic application.

    3) There is an adjustible cord with a buckle at the end of damper, which allows for adjustment of the outlet diameterDuring commissioning it is improtant to adjust the cord to balance the damper so that there is no vibration or

movement, whilst trying to minimise pressure drop.4) The Length of the Defrost Damper will always be: 1,2 x diameter + 150 mm.

MaterialAs a company PHODA s.r.o. places tremendous importance on the quality of the materials used. In every case wuse specially developed materials that have been subjected to extensive development testing in order to achievemaximum performance benets for our customers. The PMI/NMI fabrics provide all the benets listed below as part

our standard design (at no additional cost).List of most important benets of our fabrics

High rigidity and strength Our basic PMS/NMS/PMI/NMI fabrics demonstrate optimum rigidity of 1800 N/10mm in the texture and 1000N/10mm in the weave. These parameters make tearing of the material in normal use almost impossible.

High re resistenceThe PMI/NMI fabrics are certied to European standard EN 13501-1 with excellent results. In this test ourfabrics achieve B-s1,d0 classication, which means prevention of spread of re, minimum smoke productionand no burning drops. NHE fabrics in fact meet class A requirements. PMI/PLI fabrics are also certied to USnorm UL 723.

Negligible bre shedding Due to the use of endless bres, ALL of our fabrics can be used in cleanrooms up to ISO Class 4. Independentlaboratory tests demonstratethat there is practically no particle shedding from our material during operation.

Antistatic effect Woven carbon bre in PMI/NMI materials removes any build up of electric charge from the surface of thefabric.

Antibacterial effectWe utilise a special treatment which guarantees that no bacteria can survive if settled on to our fabric. Thistreatment remains effective after multiple washing. Tests for the European standards found that after TENwashes there was no reduction in the efficacy of the treatment. This allows us to offer a 10 year warranty onthe basis of our minimal maintenance requirements (see the following point).

Easy to maintainOur fabrics which are manufactured using endless bres are very effective and do not allow settlement ofimpurities from the supply air. This supply air is distributed through the diffuser perforations, and the FabricDucts remain relatively clean inside (in a normal environment). They do not require any other maintenancethan outer dusting. Washing is normally only required for either hygiene or aesthetic reasons.

Stable AppearanceThanks to our endless bre technology, the appearance of the fabric does not change over time, or with multiplewashing cycles, unlike materials made of basic bres. Our PMI/NMI/PMS/NMS materials remain aesthetic aftermany maintenance cycles.

How to Choose a Suitable Fabric?

When selecting material, please bear the following in mind

    1/ Fire Resistance

Our fabrics show 3 levels of re resistance.

2/ Rigidity and Cleaning AbilityFabrics are divided into 3 categories by weight.

3/ PermeabilityPermeable material prevents condensation occuring on the duct when cooling below dew point.

4/ ColoursMost of our materials are available from stock in the range of 9 colours detailed below (shades may vary). Nonestandard (special) colours are available, but require longer delivery timescales.

Please ask for a sample book if you wish to see or match a precise colour or shade.

Peak re resistance (specied usingthe letterE, as in Excellent) meansan entirely non combustible material.Within this class, we only use fabricsconstructed from breglass witha polyurethane coating. These arehowever non permeable and morefragile than polyester fabrics ofmedium weight.

Increased re resistance (speciedusing the letter I, as in Increased)means practically non combustibleand very low smoke production. Thesematerials meet the requirements foruse in majority of spaces.

Standard polyesters or foils (speciedusing the letterS, as standard or F, asin foil) have a very low re resistance. They can be used in an environment whereno re resistance is required.

Light (marked L ). These fabrics havea mass between 70 and 120 g/m2.Diffusers made from these materialsonly require 20 Pa of static pressureto achieve good ination. However, they are light weight and have lowerrigidity and increased risk of tearingif used out of specication. All ourlightweight materials can be machinewashed with the exception of NLF.

Medium (marked M ). These fabricshave a mass between 180 and 350g/m2. They display the highestrigidity and anti-tear resistance. Theminimum static pressure requiredfor good ination is 40 Pa. All of ourmedium weight materials can bemachine washed.

Heavy (marked H ). These are PVC orpolyurethane-coated fabrics and are onlyavailable in a non permeable specication. They cannot be machine washed but canbe hosed or sprayed down. This makesour heavy materials suitable for the mostcontaminated environments. The minimumstatic pressure for good ination is 50 Pa.

Maintenance and Warranty7.All our ducting&diffusers are made from high quality and highly resistant materials without natural bre additives. Tmaterial used is specied within the technical description of your order. Diffusers/ducting made of permeable fabrics(PMS, PMI, PLS, PLI) can be washed as normal in a common/industrial washing machine. Impermeable fabrics (NNMI, NLI, NLS, NMR) may also be machine washed but only on a gentle cycle, NMF, NHE, and NLF materials mwashed by hand. If the diffuser/ducting is equipped with tyres, arcs or tensioning systems, these xed componentsneed to be taken out before washing. Outer surface dust contamination can be usually removed by using a vacuumcleaner and washing may not be necessary.

    Washing Procedure:

    4. Lightly drain the product, install, and dry using supplyair.

    1. Wash using general washing detergents (dosage asrecommended by the manufacturer); enhance the effectby turning the duct inside out. Depending on the levelof dirt, we recommend repeating the washing cycle upto four times or use of a stronger washing detergent if

necessary.2. If hygiene procedures require it, one may adda disinfecting agent to the washing detergent. Thedisinfecting agent chemicals must not affect the fabric(see maintenance symbols), apply the detergent as permanufacturer recommendations.3. Rinse repeatedly in clean water.

    Examples of Applications8.

The rst fabric diffusers wereused in the food industry. Sanitaryregulations require that all foodprocessing devices should beeasily sanitised and cleaned. Outof all the air distribution systemoptions, this condition is only metby Fabric Ducting. Fabric Ductsare perfectly clean after washingand a disinfecting agent can alsodestroy any pathogens thatmayresist the antibacterial treatment.Fabrics made of endless bres,

developed especially for Prihodastextile diffusers, are very smoothand do not allow the build up ofimpurities. This unique and specialfeature distinguishes them fromdiffusers made of staple bres thatcontinuously trap dust and canrepresent a sanitary risk.

For large retail areas we canprovide supply air through laser cutperforations or nozzles, whicheversuits the application best.Experience over many years showsthat Fabric ducting & diffusersoffers a substantially better, moreunform air pattern than can beachieved with traditional systems, whilst also offering substantial costsavings. The wide range of 9 stockcolours allows for many differentaesthetic designs whilst the FireResistance of our fabrics meet allworld wide standards.

Large sports facilities are a typicalapplication for Prihoda FabricDucting & Diffusers, we are able tocreate a large range of diffusion airpatterns to suit any project. Whilst

our many installations at sports andtness centres provide comfortablecooling air movement for customersworking out. In these applicationslow ceiling heights are oftenencountered, where half roundfabric ducts make an aestheticand functional low cost installationsolution. Swimming Pools are amajor user of Fabric Ducts, wherethe fabric material copes easily withthe harsh environment at a fractionof the cost of treated and insulatedrigid systems. The bright coloursavailable revive and enhance manyswimming pool interiors.

In large cold stores Prihoda FabricDucting distribution systemsprovide uniform air distribution, ensuring maintenance of stableproduct temperatures and

temperature zones. In productionzones with large amounts of peopleworking in low temperatures, highair velocity will be a major cause ofdscomfort and may cause a highersickness or absence rate. Fabricducts and diffusers disperse coldair without causing draughts, andcreate comfortable, low velocityenvironments for workers.

Prihoda Fabric Ducting airdistribution is a perfect solution forany industrial operation. PrihodaFabric Ducts provide uniform lowvelocity air distribution or targetedair patterns, at unbeatably low costs.Over 100 suspension solutionsmake it possible to choose aconvenient installation style for anyapplication, easily accommodatingmost suspended and formed ceilingtypes. Space in kitchens is usually minimal, and their extreme load with heat andvapours requires intense ventilation. Prihoda Fabric Ducts disperse highvolumes of air uniformly into this environment without creating draughts. The fabric material used is resistant to steams and vapours and maintenanceis very quick and easy. Compared to a traditional stainless steel installationFabric Ducting is a much lower purchase, installation and maintenance costand easily achieves sanitary and hygiene demands due to its cleanability.

Higher aesthetic demands can besatised by the muliple colour andshapes available withPrihoda FabricDucting air distribution. Correctlymanufactured and perfectlyinstalled fabric diffusers becomean elegant part of an interior. Airdiffusion through Fabric Ductingprovides similar results to chilledbeams or perforated ceilings, however although the performanceis similar, Fabric Ducting is availableat a much lower capital cost. Unlikethe traditional diffusers, embeddedin soffits, our broadly diffusedsolutions do not cause any localheat discomfort. Experience has

demonstrated that employees insuch equally distributed and cooledoffices are signicantly morecomfortable.

The benets of using Prihoda Fabric Ducting and distribution systems forcooling or heating of large scale tents or other temporary structures are

self evident. Light weight roof structures can easily support fabric ductingand diffusers weighing from 100 to 400 g/m. Installation is very quick, using the supporting wires and hooks provided as part of the system. Topquality materials allow multiple repeated use. Cooling or heating using alarge AHU and Fabric Ducting diffusing all along the structure,is much moreeconomical than simply blowing the air into a space. Specically with heatingthe warm air rises quickly creating a high temperature zone high in theceiling and enourmous heat loss. In cooling, with air diffused through FabricDucting intense airow causes local air current sand draughts; whilst elsewhere zones with insufficient cooling develop. Both cases are successfullyresolved by a properly designed Fabric Ducting distribution system.

    Frequently Asked Questions

PHODA s.r.o. were the rst manufacturer worldwide to introduce negative pressure ducting onto the market. It made with a square or triangular shape. The principal is based on sufficient stretching of all ducting walls by mean

of a tensioning system. The construction enables simple disassembly and re-installation. Laser cut perforations areused to allow the air into the duct.

This is not a short term solution. Diffusers made from good quality fabrics will last for fteen years or longer. Ligfabrics (approx. 100 g/m2) with maximum permitted number of 50 washing procedure or the cheap, (usuallypolyethylene foils susceptible to tearing) may have limited durability.

In a well designed straight diffuser there is an almost constant static pressure throughout. The fabric perforation iscalculated based on the average value of the static pressure. In other words, the diffuser is designed based on theexternal static pressure of the system. Shaped pieces (bends) and turbulence equalisers present certain pressureloss which needs to be taken into consideration. Loss caused by friction is usually minimal due to the decreasing airspeed inside the diffuser. The minimum utilisable pressure is 50 Pa, however light material will inate from 20Pa.

Diffusers with micro-perforation and even diffusers with larger laser cut holes never get completely clogged bcontamination (if used with minimum pre-ltration EU3). The maintenance (typically washing in a washing machinis really only necessary for hygienic and aesthetic reasons. Each individual zipped section contains a washing labelwhich provides all washing information. Our experience has proven that our fabrics made of endless bres remai(practically) internally clean after many years of operation.

Mould can form on any kind of material if it is moist and unventilated. This goes for fabrics with antibacterial treatmetoo. It is caused by the fact that moulds are not bacteria. Therefore, never store moist diffusers and do not keep themout of operation for long periods of time. Moulds cannot be removed from fabrics once established.

PHODA s.r.o. has developed a special construction which enables use of a quadrangular cross-section. The principis based on stretching the fabric in transverse and longitudinal direction by means of a tensioning system. Theconstruction enables simple disassembly and re-installation. Fabric ducting with quadrangular cross-section can beassembled directly on the ceiling or suspended in the area.

If permeable materials are used, the fabric functions as a lter for the part of the transferred air that goes through thefabric. As the fabric contamination gradually increases, the pressure loss grows and the air ow decreases. Therefore,it is necessary to wash the fabric. We consider the utilisation of microperforated or laser cut perforated fabric to beby far the best solution. Although perforated fabrics do not function as lters they do not change the pressure lossvalue and the number of necessary washing procedures signicantly drops. We are a manufacturer of distribution(not ltering) ducts and diffusers.

Use of plastic nozzles or longitudinal slots can be explained on historical basis. These tools used to enable certainair distribution patterns, the nozzles in addition protected the frayed edges of the holes. When we began to use lasertechnology that allows cutting of accurate holes with sealed margins, they became redundent. Correctly designedrows of laser cut holes full the same purpose, whilst being cheaper and more aesthetic. This is the reason whyPrihoda s.r.o. chooses not to use either slots or plastic nozzles and yet achieves the same air distribution.

We use permeable materials to avoid condensation where supply air temperature is below dew point. However, weonly have material of a single permeability value. It is very low and serves just to prevent condensation. For air

distribution we use laser cut holes exclusively (perforation or microperforation or a combination of both). Our producportfolio also includes non permeable materials, which are often useful in other situations.

5/ AestheticsVarious colour and shape combinations exist to satisfy most aesthetic demands, theproduct can blend into, or become a tasteful part of the buildings interior.

    5/ Antistatic Design

Our material includes interwoven carbon bres which make our Prihoda PMI, NMI andNMR textiles more electrically conductive. The voltage between the Fabric Ducts and thebuilding structure is zero when properly earthed/grounded.

    5 for Fabric Ducting&Diffusers

    5 for PRIHODA`s Fabrics

1/ Economy & SpeedThe cost saving when using Prihoda Fabric Duct against traditional sheet steel rigid ductcan be as much as 70% especially when you take into account the cost of conventionaldiffusers, cost of transport, and much longer installation times and commissioning.Installation and/or removal take a fraction of the time needed for conventional systems.2/ Hygiene Cleaning is simple, the ducts are easy to remove and cleaned in conventional washingmachines, once cleaned and disinfected Fabric Ducts are 100% clean, much more than canbe guaranteed with traditional rigid systems.

3/ Ecology Prihoda Fabric Ducts & Diffusers are environmentally-friendly, requiring much less energythan manufacturing, transporting and installing heavy traditional rigid systems. PrihodaFabric Ducts are also partially manufactured of recycled material, we can, upon request

arrange to collect old or unused components.4/ Technique Design and positioning of distribution inlets and spigots is optimal,as is their size. Aninexhaustible number of air distribution methods can be achieved from draught free rightthrough to high velocity targeted air patterns with a long throw.

1/ Optimum Strength Through our own long-term development, we have optimised the mass of our textiles tocirca 200 to 220 g. The textile strength moderately exceeds the seam strength, which isideal. Greater strength or heavier materials do not in any way benet customers as thestrength of a product is limited by the strength of the seams.

2/ Negligible Outlet of ParticlesBecause we use endless bres, all of our fabrics can be used in Clean Rooms up to ISO Class4. Independent laboratory tests have demonstrated almost zero particle emmissions fromPrihoda materials in operation. Prihoda fabrics are very smooth and do not allow settlementof impurities from owing air. This air is distributed through the laser cut holes, and thetextile diffusers remain practically clean inside (in a normal environment). Prihoda Fabricsdo not require any other maintenance than outer dusting. Thanks to endless bres, theappearance of the fabric will not change even after multiple washing cycles, unlike materialsmade from staple bres.

3/ Antibacterial Effect Our special antibacterial treatment guarantees elimination of all bacteria in direct contactwith the material. This treatment is unaffected by multiple washing. After ten washingcycles the Prihoda antibacterial material still conforms to the requirements of the relevantinternational standard, which means realistically a lifetime guarantee considering the lowfrequency of washing required with our fabrics. This applies to PMI/NMI/NMR fabrics.

4/ High Fire Resistance Our Prihoda PMI/NMI/NMR fabrics are certied in accordance with EN 13501-1 withexcellent results. Prihoda material achieve classication B-s1,d0. (excellent re resistingperformance B, low smoke emmissions S1, zero moulten, aming drips d0) This farexceeds the requirements of UL 723 norms in the U.S. Our range of products also includesclass A2 - textiles made from bre glass.
