Ballet Arizona’s Student Matinee invites you and your students to experience professional dance productions during your school day, at a very low cost. Arts education can play a critical role in a child’s academic and social development. The Student Matinee program offers: ONE ACT of one of our regular season productions, suitable for students of all grade levels. • A question & answer “Meet the Dancers” session after the performance. A study guide that aligns with the Arizona State Standards for Dance with the English Language Arts and Math Common Core State Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards, as well as other downloadable enhancement materials for teachers to prepare their students for the ballet. All material is located at balletaz.org/student-matinees. Performances begin at 10:30 a.m. and last approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. All performances take place at Symphony Hall. Programs are subject to change. Everyone in your group must have a paid reservation. STUDENTS: $5 | TEACHERS AND CHAPERONES: $10 (Discounts for Title I Schools are available. azreportcards.azed.gov will be used to verify Title I status.) 2. Email, mail, or drop off completed form with credit card or PO number. If you are paying by check, email reservation form and send check by mail. (Email is the preferred method for making your reservation.)

3. Orders may be sent up to two weeks before an event, but seating is limited and subject to availability. Orders will be confirmed via email within one week of receipt.

4. In the event of a sellout, orders without payment or PO may be released three weeks before the event. Seats are not reserved until payment or purchase order is received. Please call with questions.

Transportation • Performances are held at Symphony Hall, 75 N. 2nd St.

• Bus and passenger van parking is provided. Specify the number of buses you will bring in the form below.

• Parking is not provided for vehicles; parking garages available: Civic Plaza West Garage, Regency Garage, Chase Garage.

• 9:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. buses arrive 10:00 a.m. doors to hall open 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. dancer class and stage prep 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. performance and Q&A with dancers

Cancellations: If you must cancel your order, notify the education office at least three weeks before the day of the performance. There can be no refunds after that date. Ballet Arizona cannot provide refunds for students or groups who are absent on the day of the performance.
