• Improve your English, Chinese and Mathematics.

Why doing homework is important?

• Studies show a positive relationship between homework and a range of self‐regulation skills:– self‐efficacy (自我勝任感)

– self‐reflection (反省)

responsibility for learning– responsibility for learning

– maintaining focus

– inhibiting distractions

– managing times

• this implies that homework facilitates the development of self‐regulation skills and enhances learning
