Media on a hydrocarbon basis are suitable for processing various pres-sure casting materials (zinc, alumin-ium, magnesium) and offer a highly active release effect with minimum consumption. Effective lubrication increases the lifespan of pressure casting moulds and mechanisms.
The production of special grades that are precisely tailored to meet specific requirements is just as much part of our services as regular maintenance.
Our selection of stamping and form-ing oils includes media for all common pressing, drawing and cutting pro- cesses and covers the full range of materials from non-ferrous metals to aluminium to high-alloy steel.
Most of these products are chlorine-free and, with the corresponding additives, meet all your requirements – from precision blanking of sheet metal for electronics to heavy-duty cold forming of complex pipe systems.

Area of applicationThe area of application covers all common processes such as auto- mated turning, deep hole boring, reaming, grinding and milling.
With a few exceptions for technical reasons, the processing media recommended by us in this field are free of chlorine and zinc. They meet all environmental and workplace requirements thanks to additives that minimise oil mist formation and prevent smoking.
The product line includes cutting oils to cover the full range of reduced and minimum lubrication applications.
Cooling lubricants – water-solubleOur water-soluble cooling lubricants – with or without amine, depending on the requirements – have been especially developed to meet the needs of mechanical processing for materials from non-ferrous metals and aluminium to high-alloy steel. Protected against contamination by microorganisms, these cooling lubricants with a stable pH are available with or without mineral oil content depending on the area of application. Subject to compliance with the recommended concentra-tions, they are guaranteed to be skin-friendly and odour-neutral in
addition to protecting machines, tools and work pieces against cor-rosion. Foaming, leak oil absorption and cobalt inhibition can be reduced with corresponding additives.
Our products are tailored to meet all processing requirements. Special products to meet customer-specific needs can be provided. The comprehensive selection of water-soluble cooling lubricants is environmentally friendly thanks to straightforward disposal. If workplace contamination cannot be avoided due to the application, it is nevertheless reduced to a minimum.

PreservationRising requirements in terms of component surface properties are increasingly having an impact on upstream and downstream processes within classic metal processing. These also have a significant influence on product quality.
Liquid preservationLiquid corrosion protection media on a hydrous, oil or wax base are devel-oped for specific parts and processes. The protective effect can be individu-ally modified from a few days up to several years. Our comprehensive approach in thought and action takes the easy removal of the media – where this is required – into account from the outset.
Dry preservationBANTLEON dry preservation products range from dispenser systems to stretch films, corrugated cardboard, film bags, hoods and paper to integrated packaging concepts. The active VCI substances (VCI = volatile corrosion inhibitor) integrated into the so-called substrates sublimate at dif-ferent rates – depending on the active substance and the substrate – and are absorbed as an invisible coating by the surfaces being protected. In doing so, they also get to areas that are difficult to reach and often remain without protection with conventional methods. Cleaning prior to the next processing step is not required with this application. Dispensing systems with a large surface area, such as foam, have proven themselves as an ideal supplement to conventional packaging materials.
