What is the difference between a curriculum vitae (CV) and a resume?
A resume is a one or two page summary of your skills, experience and education - no more than a page or two.
A Curriculum Vitae includes a summary of your educational and academic backgrounds as well as teaching and research experience awards, honors, and other details.
That's the purpose of a resume
The employer has no idea who you are. Your resume represents you.
Makes you a person of interest to employers and that will give you an opportunity to meet the employer face to face.
