Sunday May 5 Arrival day

Monday May 6 07.30 Pick up at Ljungsbro hostel for a walk to school. 08.00 Welcome meeting at Ljungsbro schoolStudents from all the schools present their own school10:00 Coffee break10:30 A guided tour around the school12:00 Lunch13.00-14:00 Science Education: presentation, discussion and work-shop. Teachers and students ( room 194)14:00-14:30 The so called ”Everybody’s Right to Nature” A short lecture on this theme which is so unique for Sweden14:30 Coffee by The Göta Canal where we finish the day with out-door activities. Comfortable shoes and clothes!We finish at approx. 17:00. Tuesday May 7 07:30 Pick up at Ljungsbro hostel for a walk to school.08:15 A lecture about Cleantech , waste turned into biological gas.09:30 ”The Green Bag”10:00 Coffee break10:30-11:15 ”Plants and animals in Sweden” (room 240-244)11:15 Lunch12:00 We take the bus to Linköping Town Hall to meet with a repre-sentative for Linköping municipality.13:30-14:00 Town Hall, Linköping cathedral, Linköping castle, the city center.Free time after that16:00 Bus back to Ljungsbro19:00 Dinner at Ljungsbro school. Barbecue.

Wednesday May 8 07:30 Pick up at Ljungsbro hostel for a walk to school.08:00 By bus to Linköping. 09:00: The center for combustion and biogas in Linköping10:15 Vehicles on biogas. Coffee break.12:00 Lunch at school13:00 Presentation of the students’ workAllhelgona Church in Ljungsbro15:30 Coffee break . The students finish school.The teachers: a discussion about environmental education.Visit the Old Town of Linköping, the evening is free.

Thursday May, 9 - Östergötland Day09:00 Departure from Ljungsbro school09:15 Visit at a traditional bread bakery10:45 The Röökstone from the times of the Vikings11:30 Visit to the lake Tåkern. CoffeeA walk up the small mountain of Omberg.14:00 Lunch at Stocklycke15:30 Vadstena town. 18:00 We leave for Ljungsbro again
