Ground TransportationGetting to ChicagoChicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) – 18 miles northwestThere are taxi stands at the lower level curb front (outside of baggage claim) at each terminal at O’Hare. The Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park is located in downtown Chicago. Taxi fares to downtown Chicago vary based on traffic conditions and time of day, but an average fare from O’Hare to a destination in downtown Chicago is $30-40 one way. Please make sure to use the designated taxi stands to ensure you have a licensed driver. For your protection, do not accept rides from drivers outside the cab stand or on the departure level (second level) of the terminal roadways. Taxis will be readily available at the entrance of the Fairmont Chicago to take you back to the airport.

Go Airport Express offers daily shared ride and non-stop direct service to/from O’Hare. They provide door-to-door downtown coverage. They begin operations during the early morning hours and depart approximately every 10 to 15 minutes from each terminal. Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW) – 12 miles southwestThere are taxi stands located on the lower level curb front of the terminals and the taxis are available on a first come, first serve basis. Registration informationMeeting RegistrationRegistration for the 2018 SVM Annual Scientific Sessions is open to SVM members and nonmembers, including applicants for membership and anyone with an interest in vascular medicine. Registration fees include admission to educational sessions, poster sessions, exhibit hall, SVM in the Vascular Lab, continental breakfasts, refreshment breaks, luncheons and access to presentation slides.

Students, Fellows-in-training, SVM Associate MembersStudents, fellows-in-training and SVM associate members are individuals who are in an accredited postgraduate training program. A letter from your training director is required with your registration to secure the discounted rate.

Payment ConfirmationAfter your registration is processed, you will receive a confirmation via email. Keep a copy of the registration form for your records. Due to registration and payment processing time, we are unable to confirm your registration until two weeks after it is submitted.

Caution: If you submit your registration form more than once, it may result in a duplicate charge on your credit card. Send your registration using only one method of payment. Faxed registration forms that do not contain credit card information do not qualify as an early paid registration. Telephone registrations are not accepted.

Cancellation PolicyNotification of cancellation must be submitted in writing via email, fax or postal mail. Cancellations received by May 31, 2018, will be subject to a $100 cancellation charge. No refunds will be given after May 31, 2018. Substitutions are allowed at any time, but must be submitted in writing via email, fax or postal mail and must be of the same membership status.
