Swift flowing water, pure and clear,

make music for your Lord to hear,

alleluia, alleluia!

Fire, so intense and fiercely bright,

you give to us both warmth and light,

Alleluia! (5x)

Earth ever fertile, day by day

unfold your blessings on our way,

O sing now, alleluia!

All flowers and fruit that in you grow,

God’s glory let them also show:

Alleluia! (5x)

All Creatures of Our God and King

All creatures of our God and King,

lift up your voices, let us sing:

alleluia, alleluia!

Bright burning sun and golden beams,

pale silver moon that gently gleams,

Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!

Great rushing winds and breezes soft,

you clouds that ride the heavens aloft,

O sing now, alleluia!

Fair rising morn, with praise rejoice;

stars nightly shining, find a voice,

Alleluia! (5x)

Let all things their creator bless, and worship God in humbleness,

Alleluia, alleluia! Praise God the Father, praise the Son,

and praise the Spirit, Three-in-One: Alleluia! (5x)

Gathering Prayer

Leader Creator, we give you thanks for all you are and all you bring to us, for our visit within your creation. In Jesus, you place the Gospel in the center of this Sacred Circle through which all of creation is related. You show us the way to live a generous and compassionate life. Give us your strength to live together with respect and commitment as we grow in your Spirit, for you are God, now and forever.

Psalm 19

1 The heavens declare the glory of God,

and the firmament shows the handiwork of the Lord.

2 One day tells its tale to another,

and one night imparts knowledge to another.

3 Although they have no words or language,

and their voices are not heard,

4 their sound has gone out into all lands,

and their message to the ends of the world.

Psalm 19 (continued)

5 In the deep has God set a pavilion for the sun;

it comes forth like a bridegroom out of his chamber;

it rejoices like a champion to run its course.

6 It goes forth from the uttermost edge of the heavens

and runs about to the end of it again;

nothing is hidden from its burning heat.

7 The law of the Lord is perfect and revives the soul;

the testimony of the Lord is sure

and gives wisdom to the innocent. Refrain

and in keeping them there is great reward.

12 Who can tell how often they offend?

from presumptuous sins;

let them not get dominion over me;

then shall I be whole and sound,

Many and Great, O God, Are Your Works

Many and great,

O God, are your works,

maker of earth and sky.

Your hands have set

the heavens with stars;

your fingers spread

the mountains and plains.

Lo, at your Word,

the waters were formed;

deep seas obey your voice.

Grant unto us

communion with you,

O star-abiding one.

Come unto us

and dwell with us;

with you are found

the gifts of life.

Bless us with life

that has no end,

eternal life with you.

Revive Thy Work, O Lord

Revive thy work, O Lord,

exalt thy precious name;

and, by the Holy Ghost sent down,

our love for thee inflame.

Revive thy work, O Lord,

and give refreshing showers.

The glory shall be all thine own;

thy blessing, Lord, be ours.

Revive thy work, O Lord,

thy mighty arm make bare;

speak with the voice that wakes the dead,

and make thy people hear.

Revive thy work, O Lord,

disturb this sleep of death;

quicken the smouldering embers now

by thine almighty breath.

Revive thy work, O Lord,

create soul-thirst for thee;

and hungering for the bread of life

O may our spirits be.
