Pre-Alg — Algebra Camp This camp gives your student a jump start for the upcoming curriculum, especially covering new concepts taught during the 1st semester. Math Factors II This camp gives your student a jump start for the upcoming curriculum, especially covering new concepts taught during the first semester. Math Factors I This camp covers most of 1st semester concepts for the upcoming year. Math x uCamp (for students entering 3rd and 4th grade) This camp creates a great concepts foundation that will be introduced in the next grade level. Study Skills Camp (for students entering 5th and 6th grade) This camp increases the ability for the student to process information, analyze, recall information, and problem solve in a consistent way. “Turning subjects that are stumbling blocks into stepping stones.”

Summer Camps

EnrichmentOur Enrichment Program Strives To:

• Strengthen academic skills in a positive way using a hands on approach.

• Create a good foundation of math, reading, and language skills.

• Provide Intense recovery to reach specifi c goals.

• Help students progress to meet grade level objectives.

• Build self esteem in students.

• Increase self motivation.

This program also provides cognitive skills enrichment. This concept helps the student increase the ability to compare information, analyze, recall information and problem solve. Your child may benefit from study skill strengthening if he/she experiences any of the following.

• Inability to stay on task or stay focused

• Inability to do two or more tasks at one time

• Inadequate processing speed

• Inability to recall information

• Has diffi culty grasping, analyzing, or visualizing.

• Lacks study skills for classroom work and /or tests

• Lacks organizational skills.

• Needs motivation.

Admittance• Admittance may take place at any time

during the 1st through 3rd quarter of the. school year.

• The need for admittance at the beginning of 4th quarter will be evaluated by the Instructors.

• Due to limited positions available, leaving Enrichment must take place at the end of the month in which a quarter ends.Sessions

• Sessions are implemented during regular school hours, during electives or after school.

• The option of putting students together in one session remains a t the discretion of the Enrichment Instructor.

• Missed sessions are charged. Those missed due to illness, fi eld trips, or special school activities will be made up as time permits.Fees

• Fees are due on the fi rst of the month. After the 7th of each month, an additional 10% late fee will be charged.

• December fee of $110 will be due to school holidays. May fee will be the full amount.

$130 per month includes two 45 minute sessions per week.
