Draft itinerary and programme

Day 1: Travel from Australia to Bali; overnight in Bali.

Day 2: Travel from Bali to Makassar, overnight in Makassar

Day 3: Travel to Tana Toraja – overnight in Rantepao

Day 4: Cultural tour in Tana Toraja; stay second night there

Day 5: Return to Makassar; overnight in Makassar

Day 6: Fly to Bau-bau, Buton Island – stay in Bau-bau

Day 7: Historical tour of Bau-bau, overnight in Bau-bau

Day 8: Travel to Kendari, meet Homestay family

Day 9: in Kendari – Morning school, large group activity

Day 10: in Kendari – Family day with homestay family

Day 11: SMP 5 Kendari – at school

Day 12: am SMP 5 Kendari – midday to Makassar - 5pm to Bali.

Day 13: Day trip to Gunung Kawi, near Ubud; Bali to state capital (overnight flight)

Friday 27 Sept = Day 1: Travel from Australia to Bali; overnight in Bali.

• We will gather at dinner

• After dinner we will discuss

• the tour,

• the housekeeping

• and get to know each other ……

Saturday 28 Sept = Day 2: Fly from Bali to Makassar; overnight in Makassar

Friday 4 Oct = Day 8: Travel to Kendari; meet Homestay family

Saturday 5 Oct = Day 9: in Kendari, Day 1

• Morning school

• Whole group activity

• Homestay overnight

Sunday 6 Oct = Day 10: in Kendari, Day 2

• At home with your homestay family

• Evening preparation for Monday in school

Monday 7 Oct = Day 11: SMP 5 Kendari

Early start! School begins at 7am!

• Travel to school with your homestay pupil

• Teach an English lesson

• Overnight homestay

Tuesday 8 Oct = Day 12: am: SMP 5 Kendari;midday: travel to Makassar; 5pm: flight to Bali
