When you go to your kitchen with your child, say I’m hungry. I want an apple. Where are the apples? Encourage your child to hand you an apple and answer Here you are. Say Thank you and encourage your child to respond with You’re welcome. Now switch roles and have your child ask for an apple. Then do the same conversation with juice.
