The 40 Developmental Assets

The 40 Developmental Assets

The 40 developmental assets are basic building blocks of human development. Assets are crucial

for the healthy development of all youth. The more of the 40 assets kids have the better.

Youth with high asset levels are less likely to engagein high-risk behaviors, and more likely to engage inthriving behaviors

Asset building is about relationships²we all can doit. You can make a difference and help a young

person succeed!
