Steps for Students to Apply for a Position via PeopleAdmin You can log into the system via mynjit.edu and must use your NJIT email to log-in to PeopleAdmin. Steps for Students to Apply for a Position via PeopleAdmin

You can log into the system via mynjit.edu and must use your NJIT email to log-in to

PeopleAdmin. If your NJIT email is not used on your application, you will not be

considered. After logging in, click on the Student Services Tab; under Online Resources,

click on On-Campus Employment.

For students who have yet to create an on-line application:

Click on the Create Application; then on the Student Application radio button and Go;

Next, create Username and Password;

On next screen, choose an Account Access Question from the drop down menu and

provide the answer to the question; click on Save and Continue to Next;

On the Personal Information Page, enter all required fields and click on Save and

Continue to Next;

On the View Student Application Summary page, review all information; if OK, click

Continue;

On the Confirm Change Application Status screen, click Confirm.

Application created!!

For students who have already created an on-line application:

Log into system via Highlander Pipeline Account;

Click on Log-in and enter Username and Password;

If a returning user (in other words, have already created an on-line application), simply

log in. From here, student may Search Postings; check on Application Status; Manage

Applications; Change Password or Logout.

To Search and Apply for Jobs, proceed as follows:

Click on Search Postings;

From the Position Type drop down menu, select Student and click on Search; all posted

student positions will appear (see sample below):

To apply for the position, click on Apply For This Posting; next, the View Position Data

Summary screen will appear. Here students have the option of editing their application; if

no changes need to be made, click on Continue With This Data and the following screen

will appear:

Answer any of the Supplemental Questions, place a “check” in the box under the Certify

Application section and click on Submit Answers to Supplemental Questions With My

Application.

At this point, your application has been submitted and the following screen will appear:

Students are encouraged to print out the above for their records.
