•The NSCB Technical Staff (TS) coordinated with the UNSD, international organizations, Regional Commissions, and national statistical agencies.
•The NSCB-TS distributed questionnaires to agencies which participated in the 2007 ICMDGS as well as in the 2011 ICMDGS to monitor the implementation of the recommendations of the former.

1. Initiate a study to investigate the reasons for discrepancies between national and international data, and for data gaps, for a group of two or three selected countries in their region

1) The first round of workshops has already taken place in all regions

3) One planned to be held in the ESCAP region early 2012
- DFID project on “MDG Labs”, through UNSD in coordination with NSAs to compile national data and publish it side by side with international data.

BangladeshOngoing. Metadata for nationally represented surveys are being done and will be hosted in BBS website soon.
Lao PDR30 out of 49 indicators are international MDG indicators which contain full metadata. The current ongoing DI Monitoring project is aiming to strengthen the metadata as well.
MalaysiaAvailable online. Metadata has been provided for 49 out of 68 indicators. It has been uploaded into “MalaysiaInfo” since 2010.
