This annual Fall CCW Rummage sale
will be Oct. 25 (9 am—4 pm) and
Oct. 26 (9 am-12 pm) in the St. Mary Church Hall. You can bring
your clean clothing and housewares to the church hall beginning
Oct. 21. We will be sorting the items on Oct. 24 at 12:30 pm. The
hall will be arranged differently so please don’t plan to start
early. We invite many volunteers to come as many hands make
light work. Please do not leave any microwaves, TV, baby seats
or furniture. No donations will be accepted after 3:00 pm on Oct.

(8:05 am) Masses. At St. Henry Church, we will be praying
the Rosary before the Saturday evening Mass (4:00 pm).

Remember the children’s rhyme, “Sticks and stones
may break my bones but words will never hurt
them”? So not true! The power of words is hard to
measure. Whether they are words of praise or shame,
love or anger, kindness or meanness, they leave a
long-lasting echo. Another saying, “Be careful with
the words you say; keep them nice and sweet. You
never know from day to day which ones you’ll have
to eat!” That one rings a little truer, don’t you think?
Anyway, here are six short phrases you can use (more
is better!) as many times as possible. You’ll be on
your way to changing the world!
I’m proud of you.
I was wrong.
Thank you.
I need you.
I’m sorry.
I love you.
SEIS FRASES QUE PUEDEN CAMBIAR EL MUNDO...
¿Recuerdas la rima de los niños, “Los palos y las
piedras pueden romperme los huesos, pero las
palabras nunca los lastimarán"? ¡Así que no es verdad!
El poder de las palabras es difícil de medir. Ya sean
palabras de alabanza o verguenza, amor o ira, bondad
