MISSION STATEMENT: St. Mary Magdalene Parish is a welcoming Faith Community of followers of Jesus Christ bonded by the Eucharist. We go forth from this table into the larger community sharing our gifts and talents in order to bring about God’s reign through works of justice and responsible stewardship.
The Frederick Douglass Global Fellowship honors the legacy of the abolitionist and statesman with a fully funded summer study abroad program. This Fellowship is developed for students of color and selection is in the spirit of Douglass himself with special emphasis on leadership, social justice, agitation
for positive change and cross-cultural understanding.
Ireland’s Department of Foreign Affairs has committed to co-sponsoring the 2021 Frederick Douglass Global Fellows to commemorate the 175th anniversary of Frederick Douglass’s four-month visit to the country.
The fifth cohort of Fellows will be based in Dublin and follow in Douglass’s footsteps
with visits across the country in summer 2021.

Parish and Liturgical Guidelines:
A reminder to safety measures with regard to hygiene and social distancing: the preferred
method of receiving Holy Communion is in the hand and those who insist on receiving on the tongue, should wait to the end of the communion line to receive in order to limit the
possibilities of spreading infection.
Please keep your mask on while approaching for communion; move at least six (6) feet
away from priest, before removing mask to consume consecrated host.
Small Prayer Groups
Our small prayer groups have begun virtual meetings. If you want to
join a prayer group or host a prayer group, please call the rectory for
