    SI = Special Intentions

    Dear Beloved Parishioners,

    I am putting in the bulletin our 2 financial statements for December 31, 2017 and July 31, 2018 to show you the up to date through July 31, 2018. Before I leave, I will give you the financial figures of our total financial statements until August 31, 2018.

    As you can see at the end of 2017, we had $306,793.89 in mortgage debt to be paid plus $3,401.11 in interest or a total of $310,195 as of July 31, 2018. All the mortgage was paid by August 2018 of $310,195 instead of the actual payoff date of April 1, 2028. The parish had a fund raiser to pay off the balance of approximately $100,000 which began in May 2018 and the parishioners raised $72,768 and the balance of this mortgage debt was paid from the parish accounts. Even after paying off the mortgage we still have $137,089.53. in the operating accounts, checking and savings.

    Thank you for your support and generosity to our parish and with our small parish existing funds of $137,089 in our operating account Fr. Elie, your new Pastor, will be able to keep the parish running and fix any necessary maintenance, fix the roof, get a new air conditioner for the church, seal the parking lot, paint the church or any other maintenance needed in the future. Thank you for your help and support as you can see in 9 years together we were able to perform miracles and help put our church, St. Jude, back on the map.

    Your help, support, kindness and generosity are greatly appreciated. May God bless you and reward you for all the good you are doing for our Parish Family. You will always be remembered in my prayers, please keep me in yours.

    With all my love, appreciation and gratitude to God and to you. Peace of Christ, Fr. Bassam
