Kid Matter
At St Brigid’s we believe in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our community. The school is part of the KidsMatter program and an important aspect of implementing this program is the consultation process with parents and carers. We are conducting a short survey asking about your perceptions of the school in relation to the school ’s work in the area of Mental Health and Wellbeing.
It is important that you give your honest views. It is OK to disagree to statements if that is your honest view. Your views about your child’s school are important. Your responses need to be an "on balance" judgement if you have more than one child in the school. Although not every question may seem relevant to you, please answer each question as best you can. Further information regarding Kidsmatter is included in the newsletter.
To reach the survey you can either click on the link - https://goo.gl/forms/uAkTYkRx0L33bgIX2 Or you can scan the QR code
Thanks for your participation in this survey. If you have any questions or concerns please email Sarah Kimball. [email protected]

They’re Calling On Us The Environment and Sustainability Team have been working on a project to help save the gorillas. That project is called ‘They’re Calling On Us’ ( Zoos Victoria designed the original project and it is called ‘They’re Calling On You’ but we are taking ownership of our own part of the project and changing the name). The project is about donating old mobile phones so that we can recycle coltan and save the gorillas’ homes. Coltan is a metal that is found in your mobile phones. Most of the world's coltan is mined in central Africa where the gorillas live. We will be having a casual clothes day on Tuesday 31st July (World Ranger’s Day),for students who bring old mobile phones, mobile phone batteries, or mobile phone accessories or you can bring a gold coin for the Thin Green Line Foundation. This foundation helps train and equip the rangers who help protect the world’s wildlife.
So start collecting all your old mobile phones, phone batteries and accessories!
