Incorrect use can cause equipment to malfunction or even shatter andcause accidents.

Consult the instruction’s handbook before using the equipment.

No move or lift the equipment with pressure.

Store hazardous fluid in approved containers.

Use always gloves, mask, glasses and clothes to be protected from thepossible hurts.

FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARD

Poor ventilation, poor grounding or a spark can create a dangeroussituation, causing fires or explosions.

Ground equipment and conductive objects in work area. See groundinginstructions.

If there is static sparking or you feel a shock, stop operation and do notuse the equipment again until you identify and correct the cause.

Use the equipment in well ventilated area.

Keep the work area free o debris, including solvent, rags and gasoline.

Do not smoke in the work area

Keep a fire extinguisher in the work area.

MOVING PARTS HAZARD

Moving parts can pinch or amputate fingers and other body parts.

Keep clear of moving parts

Do not operate equipment without protective guards or covers removed.

Before checking, moving, or servicing equipment, follow the pressurerelief procedure.

INSTALLATION

Install the elevator of sure form to preventmovement during operation.

When the installation is made, youmust to be sure that the operator willhave easy access to the air controlgroup.

Verify that there is enough spaceabove the elevator so that it can reachits maximum height (approximately2’5 meters).

Make sure the four screws, at thebase of the elevator, are tightened.

Level the base of the elevator usingwedges

The air inlet hose can not be less than8mm of diameter.

The regulator of the air group has tobe closed. (To close the regulator, thecontrol has to be in the middle).

Make sure the hose of entry and exitof air, on the elevator, are connected.

Open the valve of entry of air andthe elevator will be raised to itsmaximum height (1052mm).

It is necessary to adjust the elevatorbecause the cover must be subject to thejerry cans.

Place the jerry can without the coveron the base, centred and as close aspossible to the elevator, in order toregulate the position of the cover.

Descend the elevator until its lowestpoint.

Put the cover on the jerry can.

Place the joint (nº 1) outside of thecylinder before attaching the frontclamp (nº2) and the rear clamp (nº3).After placing the two clamps are tiedwith the help of screws (nº4), nuts(nº6) and washers (nº5) as shown inthe figure 5 but without tighten.

The cover must rest on the jerry can,so the elevator is raised from 5 to 7mm and supports the cover on thejerry can. Finally the screws and nutsmust be tightened.

Before raising the elevator, check thatall parts and connections are tight.

MAINTENANCE

The pneumatic elevator must belubricated so that the o-rings aredamaged as little as possible. To do itonly must release the plug (Nº. X) andpour a few drops of oil inside.

To change the o-ring (Nº. 5) and guide(Nº. 4) first unscrew the shaft guide(Nº. 10) of cylinder (Nº. 8), followedthe cylinder (Nº. 8) is slid, taking careto avoid damaging the tube (Nº. 7).

To change the o-ring (Nº.11) and theguide (Nº.12), unscrew the tube (Nº.7) of the lower body (Nº. 15) isnecessary.

To reduce the risk of accidents, cut theair supply and release the pressure ofthe elevator before starting tomaintenance is necessary.

WARNINGCHANGE JERRY CAN

NOTE:

The air, which enters the elevator, must beclean and lubricated.

Raise the elevator to its maximum height.

Remove the empty jerry can.

Place the filled jerry can on the base,close to the elevator.

Open the jerry can.

WARNING

While the elevator is moving there to takeyour hands away from the cover and rimof the jerry can.

NOTE:

If the new jerry can has different measures,the position of the cover must to bereadjusted.

NOTE:

If there is an agitator or other device at thecover, check that they do not hit the bottomof the jerry can, because they can bedamaged.NOTE:

Always that the tube (Nº. 7) and the lowerbody (Nº. 15) are unscrewed, the joint(Nº.14) must be change.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

PROBLEM

The elevator does not goup, nor go down.

The elevator is movingtoo fast.

Air leaks in thepneumatic cylinder.

SOLUTION

Open or clean.

Increase pressure.

Change o-ring.

Reduce pressure.

Change the o-rings.Tighten the shaft guidesnº1, and nº10 (fig.6).

CAUSE

Air control group is closed or air line isclogged.

Air pressure is insofficient.

The o-rings are damaged.

Pressure to high.

The o-rings are damaged or loose shaftguides.

WARNING

To reduce the risk of accidents, cut theair supply and release the pressure ofthe elevator before starting tomaintenance is necessary.

WARRANTY

M.B.P., will any repairs necessary during the first 12 months after purchase of a newunit, with the exceptions shown under 1 and 2 below, and under the conditions shown initem 3.

Damage caused by external abuse, customer negligence, or failure to operatethe unit in accordance with the instructions supplied with the unit.

Normal maintenance items.

Within the first 12 months after purchase, M.B.P. will pay 100% of the cost ofcovered repairs.

In no case will M.B.P.liability extend beyond repair or repalacement of the equipment.Such liability is limited to the amount of the original purchase price paid for the unit, minusa reasonable deduction for the time the unit has been in service. It is the responsibility ofthe purchaser under this warranty to ship or deliver the failed paint sprayer to the authorizedservice center at the purchaser’s expence. Parts or components covered under thiswarranty may either be repaired or replaced at M.B.P. option.

Equipent not covered by M.B.P. warranty. Accessories or components of equipment soldby M.B.P. that are nort manufactured by M.B.P. are subject to the warranty, if any, oftheir manufacturer. M.B.P. will provide purchaser with reasonable assistance in makingsuch claims.

The Industry Department of The Basque Goverment, states that all electric and pneumaticairless equipment manufacture by M.B.P. S.L., follows the ’’CE’’ standards under thenumber 83/392/CEE.
