The Michael “Pinball” Clemons Foundation cordially invites

you to join us on Thursday May 8th, 2014 for an exceptional

evening. The annual gala is one of the Foundation’s signature

events and one of the main ways we help provide support to

the remarkable charities we partner with. We are thrilled that

WE|U|NIGHT will be hosted in support of longtime partners

Free the Children, with one very special dedicated purpose

of educating youth.

Free the Children is an international charity and educational

partner that works both domestically and internationally

to empower and enable youth to be agents of change.

WE|U|NIGHT was inspired by this mission and seeks to

motivate adults to make a similar commitment to education,

with proceeds from the evening going toward building schools

and educational resources for children worldwide including

our own backyards.

Since 2006, the Michael “Pinball” Clemons Foundation

(MPCF) has been fulfilling the dreams of under-resourced

communities around the world. Through fundraising and

awareness campaigns, they assist those locally with the dream

of home ownership; support students with scholarships for

higher education; and provide computers to youths in priority

neighborhoods to mention a few ongoing initiatives.

Internationally, the Foundation has raised the funds to build

over 160 schools in developing regions around the world

through Free the Children’s Adopt a Village program. The

goal of WE|U|NIGHTwill be to raise enough support in a single

night to build 100 classrooms and school buildings across the

eight countries that Free the Children works with overseas.

The theme of the event is Night. From the beginning of time,

the very concept of this dark time of day has been a source

of deep fascination. In ancient times, worshippers prayed to

Luna, the divine embodiment of the moon who awoke each

evening at dusk to ride her chariot across the sky, shining

light upon nocturnal travelers. Historical celestial calendars

became maps of the seas for explorers and helped open the

world to new possibilities. Through the centuries, nighttime

has been the right time for wonder, aspiration and revelry.

WE|U|NIGHT will feature outstanding entertainment by some

of today’s best musicians and keynote speeches by the most

sought after motivational speakers of our day. This multi-

media powerhouse of an evening will also feature celebrity

appearances, a highly experiential marketing platform and a

wide array of promotional activation opportunities.
