Schedule of Events: 9:00 a.m. Vendors arrive 10:00 a.m. Registration Open Vendors & Relay Tables Open 10:30 Demonstrations Begin 11:00 Blessing of the Animals 11:15 Canine Games, Contests Prizes awarded for costumes, fun, games and most money raised for the life– saving programs of the ACS 12:00 Canine Relay Walk 12:30 Bone Drop Raffle with South Park/Broughton Fire Department Music provided by DJ Bryan Walsh Dogs & Owners may register day of the event, but to guarantee your t-shirt & bandana, you should register by April 2, 2015.

What is the American Cancer Society Bark For Life?

The American Cancer Society Bark For Life & Vendor Show offers a unique opportunity to join a

group of dog lovers in the Pittsburgh Area. Over 200 dogs are expected to join together to fight

cancer and enjoy some quality time with their owners & other canines. Use the form on the back of

this flyer to let us know that you would like to participate in this annual event. Vendors & Sponsors

will be welcomed to arrive starting at 9 a.m. to set up for a 10 a.m. event start.

American Cancer Society Bark For Life honors the lifelong contributions of our canine caregivers. It

empowers canine caregivers and their owners to contribute to the fight against cancer through their

involvement with the American Cancer Society.

Canine caregivers are canine companions, guide dogs, service dogs, cancer survivor dogs, and

diagnostic dogs who, with their owners, are joining the ACS to help finish the fight against cancer.

They participate to celebrate cancer survivorship, to honor those lost to cancer and to fundraise in

support of the Society’s mission to finish the fight!

Canine companions demonstrate unconditional love, joy, security, and compassion to cancer

survivors. They do not judge them for their abilities or for their appearance. Bark For Life offer

survivors– and any dog lover– the opportunity to partner with their canine best friends to create new

connections and share a chance to smile as they come together to fight cancer!
