    )nspection and testing reFuirements shall be in accordance with the applicable +ompany%

    !hell ;roup and )nternational standards% with the relevant sections of this specification and

    the data sheets.

    The Vendor shall specify all of the inspection and testing reFuirements in the )TP which shall

    identify the activities reFuiring the PurchaserHs approval% review% witnessing etc. / typical)TP is attached in /ppendiG(".

    Purchaser reserves the right to inspect every component or item% which will form part of the

    pressure vessel. The responsibility for the inspection% certification% etc. of all materials%

    parts% etc. lies with the Vendor.

    6ot withstanding the above% the Purchaser or his authoriLed representative shall have free

    access to all parts of the VendorHs and his !ub(VendorEs wors at all times during the

    manufacturing period.

    The Vendor shall be responsible for coordinating the inspection and testing of !ub(Vendor

    supplied eFuipment% and for ensuring that the PurchaserHs representatives are given the

    necessary access for inspection% and adeFuate warning of inspection and witness tests.

    The Vendor and all !ub(Vendors5 shall give the +ompany% as reFuired% without charge% all

    reasonable facilities for the purpose of inspecting the eFuipment to ensure that it is

    /ll welding and welding consumables shall be in accordance with D#P 3.1.*.1"(;en%unless indicated otherwise in this specification. 7nly =ow :ydrogen welding consumables

    shall be used. Diffusible :ydrogen level shall be less that 1ml'1g weld metal% unlessagreed and approved by the Purchaser. /ll welding consumables shall have specifiedmechanical properties eFual to or greater than the material being welded% unless agreed andapproved by the Purchaser.

    The Vendor shall supply all necessary eFuipment and record welding variables during theProcedure @ualification ecord P@5 Test% production welding and weld Fualification tests.Prior to the start of production welding all P! with supporting P@ shall be submitted forapproval to the Purchaser.

    here it is demonstrated that on noLLle ' branch weld neither radiography nor ultrasonic

    eGamination can be performed% the root pass after deposition and the weld shall be

    eGamined visually and subIect to $T ' =T.

    /ll components including plates% forgings% fitt ings% welding consumables etc. shall becheced for impact test reFuirements to the specified lower design temperature =DT5 asthe minimum design metal temperature $D$T5 to meet the applicable codes andstandards. Vendor shall confirm with the material supplier the reFuired impact test value at

    specified =DT conform to the specified impact value as per D#P 3.1.2.31(;en andapplicable codes and standards. +ertified $aterial Test eport shall clearly specify the testresults.

    P:T shall be performed as per the code reFuirements and as specified in the eFuipment

    datasheet.

    Positive $aterial )dentification P$)5 shall be carried out on all wetted parts material.Vendorshall submit P$) procedure with the bid for +ompany'Purchaser review. Vendor shall refer

    The eFuipment shall not be tested or leave the factory before all discovered defects have

    been rectified.

    8.1 *"S*-N2 R"7-R"#"N*S

    This section describes the minimum reFuirements for the testing of the eFuipment. Thistesting shall be performed in the VendorEs wors.

    The Purchaser reserves the right to observe any of the testing% dismantling% inspection and

    reassembly of eFuipment as specified.

    &nless otherwise specified% all testing eFuipment reFuired shall be provided by the Vendor.

    PurchaserEs witnessing of shop test results shall not constitute a waiver of the VendorEs

    obligation to provide eFuipment which meets all specified operating conditions.

    8.1. Hydrostatic *est

    :ydro testing shall be as per the code% specification% data sheets and )nspection A Testing

    Plan. )nspector shall witness all hydrostatic tests. Drainage ' flushing ' drying of the

    eFuipment shall strictly follow immediately after the hydrostatic testing as specified in !P(

    2?1. The water to be used for the hydrostatic test apart from the reFuirements as to

    eFuirements for Vendor documentation are listed in the eFuisition for #ngineering

    Documents #D5 form included in /ppendiG(3 and sections below. The Vendor shall prepare

    a Vendor Document egister VD5 or !uppliers Document !chedule !D!5 in the +ompany

    standard format using the above information as a guide. The Vendor shall submit the

    Document egister to Purchaser for review and approval together with document delivery

    schedule after award and prior to submission of any other documentation. The Document

    egister will thereafter form the basis of submission and control of all documents. The

    +ompany title bloc'drawing number can be included on the front sheet. /ll documentation

    shall be submitted for review'approval to the Purchaser within the committed schedule. )tshall be the responsibility of the Vendor to ensure that the production schedule taes into

    account documentation submission% including a two wees review period by the Purchaser%

    which includes document delivery time.

    +orrections will be mared on the drawings. $ared(up copies of the drawings will be

    returned to the Vendor under cover of the appropriate transmittal form.

    The Vendor shall at all times be responsible for review and correction of !ub(VendorEs

    drawings and documents prior to submittal to Purchaser for approval.

    The Purchaser will clearly indicate on the documents which parts% if any% are QholdE. The

    Purchaser will inform the parties concerned% of the reasons for placing JholdK% and the

    dates5 on which release of these JholdsK can be eGpected. The Vendor shall not delay

    manufacturing of released parts because of JholdK placed on other parts.

    &pon approval of the VendorEs drawings by the Purchaser% the Vendor shall forward to thePurchaser the reFuired number of approved documents% prints and disettes as stated on

    the #D form under cover of a transmittal form% ,inal Document Transmittal ,DT5.

    $anuals shall also be submitted to Purchaser under cover of a ,DT.

    The manual with all the relevant details to install% commission and operate'maintain the

    eFuipment shall be provided% with all the applicable drawings and details. The manual shall

    include all instructions on specific safety procedures for the installation and start(up of the

    eFuipment.

    The preparation for shipment of eFuipment and materials shall be in accordance with #D(

    *(1% D#P 8.1.8.11(;en and additional reFuirements as defined in this section. !pecial

    care should be taen for the pacaging of delicate eFuipments ' parts.

    /ll noLLles and open ends of the eFuipment shall be treated with !hell #nsis ,luid !D+ and

    closed off by wooden or plastic blans and taped. !mall bore connections shall be tapedover.

    Preservation of the pacages shall be suitable for a storage period of at least * months.

    /ll eFuipment under sea shipment and those with +r($o or higher alloy steel material shall

    be cleaned% dried and then purged with nitrogen and sealed with nitrogen with a small

    positive pressure not less than .8 barg5. 6itrogen bottles shall be provided and secured to

    the shipping saddles for refilling. /ll associated valves and gauges shall be provided to

    monitor the nitrogen pressure inside the vessel.

    The eFuipment shall be paced in a seaworthy close boarded case with a waterproof lining.

    The case shall be sufficiently strong to withstand handling and storage.

    ,or transportation of any eFuipment in !ultanate of 7man% the maGimum height including

    the trailer standard height of low bed trailer 1.3 metres% special low bed trailer height 1
