My 31 years of union membership and participation have been an invaluable edu-cational experience. Working as an Ap-prentice, Journeyman, and Foreman has provided me with not only excellent lead-ership skills, but also problem solving and communication skills. These skills will be an asset to not only this position but also a Trustee for our Fringe Benefi t Funds.
My experience as Chairman of the Picnic Committee, an active member of COPE and on the Foreman’s C ommittee has given me the opportunity to interact with members on a social, business, and po-litical level and has provided me with an insightful view of the membership needs.
Having played softball as an Apprentice and more recently playing on the Appren-tice Softball team has given me a unique view of the changing face of our industry. This distinctive perspective will better al-low me to understand the changing needs of our membership, with a personal prom-ise to treat ALL members equally. If elected, I pledge to always put the best interest of the membership fi rst. My com-mitment will bring a new sense of vitality to this position.

It’s been truly an honor to be nominated for the position for the Executive Board for IBEW Local 25.
As the son and brother of respected Local 25 members, I was raised to respect this great organization and to never put any of its best interests at risk.
Presently, as an Executive Board member I still live by these virtues that were instilled in me as a young Apprentice. I truly be-lieve in the great possibilities the future may hold for our great union. Together we can turn those pessimists to optimists, and make our Local as strong as it can possibly be. So help me help you, with hard work and dedication, make those possibilities become a reality.

DELEGATE TO THE INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION
Nominated by Sean Plant Seconded by William Grant
I have been a proud member of IBEW Local #25 for over 34 years. Over that period I have served our Local Union proudly as a member of the Examining Board, Execu-tive Board and as a principal offi cer as Vice President, Financial Secretary, but most importantly, as a Member.
Through the years I have prepared myself for each of these positions through my ex-perience and education, not only on the job but also with formal education in courses relating to our industry and always with the Brotherhood in mind. As a principal offi cer, I will be a voice in discussion and debate with other members of our delegation and also with those of other local unions throughout the IBEW. Through these dis-cussions, I will be an advocate for solving problems concerning policies that affect us all and will work toward a stronger and better IBEW.
Fraternally yours,James P. Malley
