Dear Visionary,

The first edition of Solar Power Mexico (SPM 2019) was a success due to numerous factors. Success was in large part due to the trust exhibitors put in a trade show platform never seen in Mexico, the thousands of professional visitors who understood the added-value presented through our conference, workshop and robust educational program, along with the all-encompassing exhibition floor made up of the sector´s latest innovations.

Mexico´s renewable energy market has received an indisputable push from users´ inclination to obtain low-cost and responsibly environmental options. Due to Mexico´s geographical location, solar is the most viable renewable energy for our country in two main categories: utility scale and distributed generation. Additionally, the extensive interest shown by visitors confirms the need to have the latest technology from Mexico; ranging from the most advanced photovoltaic systems to efficient storage systems which will help make use of the energy surplus generated throughout the day. SPM is organized by three giants from the exhibition industry: Deutsche Messe AG (one of the leading organizers of industrial events worldwide), SNEC (the organizer of the largest and most important solar exhibition in the world, taking place in Shanghai) and Solar Power International (organizer of the most important solar energy trade shows in the United States). With joint forces and a global reach, the orga-

nizers aim to develop the Mexican solar market long-term. With new alliances and a more robust confe-rence, workshop and educational program, we expect the first edition´s indisputable success to be sur-passed for the 2020 event. Join us at the Citibanamex Center from November 18 to 20 and have the opportunity to inte-ract with key industry players and generate new business contacts in a country with an enormous growth potential.

We are glad to have you with us and can´t wait to see you at Solar Power Mexico 2020!

Three world-renowned trade show organizers – each with a global reach – are throwing in their weight to make Solar Power Mexico 2020 a success.

Their tremendous foothold at their home bases in Germany, China, U.S. and Mexico combined with their extensive international networks will help you connect with a highly qualified audience of solar industry professionals, facilitators and investors.

Deutsche Messe attracts exhibitors and visitors since 1947 and currently manages 130 trade shows attended by 3.5 million visitors and 40,000 exhibitors. Hannover Fairs Mexico is a subsi-diary of Deutsche Messe AG and was established in 2016 to cover the need for internationali-zation of different economic sectors of the country.

Deutsche Messe organizes CanWEA, Canada’s leading wind energy conference and exhibition, Hydrogen + Fuel Cells NORTH AMERICA, the international meeting point of the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Community in the USA, Solar Canada, Canada’s largest solar energy exhibition and conference, and more.

The SNEC PV Power Expo is the world’s largest PV tradeshow based in Shanghai, China. SNEC has evolved from 15,000 sqm in 2007 to over 200,000 sqm in 2018, attracting over 2,000 exhibi-ting companies from 95 countries and regions all over the world and an overseas exhibitor ratio of over 30%. The event is jointly organized by 23 international associations and organizations including the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA).

Solar Power International (SPI) is the largest solar trade show in North America. Over 20,000 attendees and 700 exhibitors come together to learn, network, and grow their business. SPI is co-located with Energy Storage International (ESI), the largest energy storage event in North America. The events are powered by two leading energy associations, the Solar Energy Indus-tries Association (SEIA) and the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA).

The Mexican Market is BOOMING!The market is supported by competitive advantages that range from local innovation to a rapidly increasing demand for solar technologies.

Solar Power Mexico helps you navigate the market opportunities and will address ways to manage an increasingly complex grid.

Recently PRODESEN 2018-2032 has been published – a 11,906 Million USD investment in solar energy.

Mexico passed the General Climate Change Law, aiming to have 35% of energy come from renewables by 2024, and 50% by 2050.

The Mexico Secretariat of Energy expects 11.6 GW of cumulative PV power and 58.5 GW of clean energy to be reached by 2032.

Primary energy demand in Mexico has increased by 25% since 2000.

Mexico’s solar resources are among the best in the world, with annual daily solar irradiance levels ranging between 4.4 kWh/sqm and 6.3 kWh/sqm.

Mexico ranks 5th for expected new capacity by 2021, with 10,000 MW capacity (an 84% growth).
