Introduction Dr. R. Christopher Goodwin is an expert in cultural

resource management. His specialties include nautical archaeology, cultural ecology, historic archaeology, and preservation planning, among other areas. The president, CEO, and director of research at R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates, Inc., R. Christopher Goodwin, Ph.D. previously served as a research fellow at the Smithsonian Institution. He and his firm, R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates, Inc. were featured in the Spring 2014 edition of Energy & Mining Magazine in an article entitled "Uncovering History."
