Adding a new sheet for Design-specific code lists

1. Start SP3D 10.02 Sheets. 2. Select the sheet you want to customize. 3. Add a new record (press the F6 key) and duplicate the original values (press the F4 key) 4. Change the sheet name by adding the Design Standard Identifier within brackets as the

suffix to the OriginalSheetName. For example, a valid sheet in this case can be “AspectCode [2007] where 2007 is the [DesignStdIdentifier].

5. Save the changes (press the F10 key). 6. If the sheet is discipline specify, enter the disciplines in the Disciplines section.

Note: The DesignStdIdentifier should be a meaningful and unique name which can indicate the reason for customization and help in easy identification. The DesignStdIdentifier must be within “[ ]” (brackets). Care should be taken that the original sheet name is not changed in any way.

Configuring Sheet Attributes 1. Start SP3D 10.07 Sheet Configs. 2. Select the Sheet Configuration that you will be referencing in your export. 3. In the Sheets section, select the original Sheet that you want to customize. 4. Add a new sheet (press the F4 key) and duplicate the contents of the original sheet. 5. Change the sequence number to a unique value. 6. Select the new design specific sheet from the LOV {press the F9 key) and save the

changes. 7. All the attributes of the original sheet are displayed. 8. Modify the Attributes, Definition Attributes and Attached Procedures as per your

requirements. Note: If you do not select the original sheet and duplicate it, you will have to specify all the attributes manually in the Attribute tab.

Adding a sheet to the Destination Structure

1. Start SP3D 10.09 Catalog Structures. 2. Select the structure associated with the destination to which you will be exporting. 3. Navigate to the tree in the Structure Elements section and select the folder in which

you want the new code list to appear. 4. In the Sheets section, add a new record (press the F6 key) and select the new Design

standard specific sheet from the LOV (press the F9 key). 5. Save your changes.

Setting up a new Transfer Type

1. Start SP3D 10.06 Transfer Types. 2. Select the ALL_CODE_LISTS transfer type. 3. Add a new record (press F6) and duplicate the transfer type (press F4) 4. Change the name of the Transfer Type to uniquely associate it with the Design

Standard and save the changes. 5. The list of sheets associated with the new transfer type is displayed. 6. In the Sheets section, navigate to the original sheet (AspectCode). 7. Delete the original sheet and save the changes. 8. Add a new record (press F6) in the Sheets section and select the new Design Std

specific sheet (AspectCode [2007]) and save your changes. Note: Instead of duplicating an existing transfer type, you can also create a new transfer type and manually add the relevant sheets to it. Note: If you do not delete the original sheet (AspectCode) and save your changes, you will not be able to add the new Design Std specific sheet (AspectCode [2007]).

Exporting to SP3D Setting up and Running an Export Job

1. Start SP3D 20.01 Export Jobs. 2. Create a new Export Job (press F6). 3. Enter the appropriate destination, transfer type, config and other relevant details. 4. Save the changes. 5. Run the job by clicking on the Start Online button. 6. After the Job gets done successfully, click on the Logfiles tab to review the log files

for any errors.

Viewing the Excel File 1. Click on the Workbook tab to view the generated Excel workbook. 2. Verify that the DesignStdIdentifier [2007] was dropped from the sheet name and the

data matches the rows entered in SP3D.10.08.Templates. 3. The Index sheet should still show the new sheet name (AspectCode [2007]).

Viewing Destination data 1. Click on the Show Results button to review the exported data. 2. Verify that the sheet appears in the correct folder in the structure and that the data was

correctly exported.
