this new system is just like a revolution.totalinfrustracture surely attracts students.they will learnthings in the best way what they really deserve.theywill do their task online in a smart environment andif they really feel any prob,they can send their queryto their teacher.It will attract students to attend theirclasses in right time with full energy.The digitalcontents in the smart classroom seem to haveemerged as a tool for the students to come out ofmemorising knowledge ending a more than acentury old traditional teacher centered learningsystem.it will also check the students whether theyreally utilize their time & energy by doing study ornot.

Student tracking management

Any student tracking & management web-based (STM) system consists of several tracking devices (inserted in critical spots inside the facility and outside the facility) and a Web-Based server .

Tracking devices consist of two main parts:

- The first part is the identification system which is necessary to identify a specific student.

-The second important part is the device transceiver which provides the ability for the tracking device to communicate with the web- based server by using of a certain protocol or standard.

System description

The figure shows that the system is consisting of:

RFID Readers & Tags.

GSM Module.

Monitor Computer.

RFID readers & tags

In our project, we choose to build it and provide a commercial RFID reader with its compatible tags in order to complete the system in the case of the failure in building the reader manually.

The reader that we built is designed by microchip, it is a FSK anti-collision RFID reader, we used this design because it is the only design we found that solves the problem of collision between tags.

The reader that we brought is called ID-20 RFID reader from ID-Innovations, This is a very simple to use RFID reader module. With a built in antenna.

The ID-20 features are: -5V supply 125kHz read frequency

-EM4001 64-bit RFID tag compatible

9600bps TTL and RS232 output

Magnetic stripe emulation output

Read range of 200mm

The tag

The tag which will used with the ID-20 reader is a simple 125 KHz tag, These tags come with a unique 32-bit ID and are not re-programmable.

Card is blank, smooth, and mildly flexible.

In this section we are about to discuss three cases:

the case of using SMS,

the case of using GPRS,

the case of using Email and the interface between the PIC and the GSM module.

In the first place, configuring the device to work is the most important section in order to start using the device, providing the device with the suitable voltage supply, the suitable serial application like Hyper terminal and the suitable baud rate is very important factors to guarantee that the device will work.

order to use GPRS we have first to set the access point name ”APN” identifies an IP packet data network (PDN), that a mobile data user wants to communicate with.

The next step is to get An IP from the operator and Now we can open the connection with the remote host with using its static IP address on the certain port number.

Advantages of smart classroom

lets teachers simultaneously instruct remote and local students.

It provides a pen-based user interface on a projected display.

lets the teacher control the presentation of lecture materials.

informs the teacher of classroom events.

The computers enable participant to apply the subject matter during the courses.

Disadvantages of smart classroom

Technical problems may occur during the lecture.

Some teachers had not understood the purpose of smart classrooms or what they were expected to do there.

The system has been developed with simple user interaction,efficient & less time consuming. Thesmart Teaching Platform is a new educational product category, designed to function in today’s technology-intensive classrooms. It supports the teacher with tools for curriculum planning, classroom management, and student assessment. It is designed to operate in a teacher-led classroom as the basic carrier of the curriculum content.It provides time-saving teacher tools to streamline classroom management, to create a smooth flow.
