Per la prima volta ECO+, non è solo un imbottitura ma diventa comfort e design completamente “riciclabile”.

ECO+ è utilizzato per la gamma di imbottiture di Smanie. Trattandosi di un polimero a cellule chiuse, l’imbottitura può anchenon rimanere tradizionalmente racchiusa da una copertina in microfibra o pelle, ma può essere “a vista” come con Vanity. La completa riciclabilità, l’idrorepellenza e l’atermicità sono caratteristiche che le normali imbottiture a cellula aperta non possono vantare. Ecco quindi svelata l’unicità del sistema di imbottiture in ECO+ utilizzato da Smanie.

For the first time ever ECO+ is now more than just padding and offers completely “recyclable” comfort and design.

ECO+ is used for the Smanie range of paddings. It’s a closed-cell polymer so the padding no longer needs to be coveredwith microfibre or leather, instead it can become a visible design feature like the style used for the Vanity saddle. It offers so much more than any normal open-cell padding as it is completely recyclable, water repellent and athermic. This is what makes the ECO+ padding system used by Smanie so incredibly unique.

Nella posizione in sella ci sono 3 punti di appoggio dove viene esercitata la maggiore pressione durante la seduta, due posteriori nella zona ischiatica ed uno anteriore in quella perineale. Questi punti cambiano in funzione della “taglia” del bacino e della struttura muscolare. Il TRI S PROGRAM, proprio nella fase progettuale dello scafo della sella ha lo scopo di individuare le diverse zone di pressione per rendere la sella adatta a più ciclisti, aumentando la superficie d’appoggio laterale per le ossa ischiatiche e disegnando un canale centrale di scarico della pressione perineale adeguatamente avanzato. Questo studio ha consentito di produrre una famiglia di selle molto eclettica che riaponde alle esigenze di un vasto pubblicodi atleti ed appassionati con strutture muscolari e di bacino diverse fra loro. Con questa metodologia di lavoro sono state concepite tutte le selle della famiglia TRI. La “Race” e le “S PRO”.

When a cyclist sits on the saddle there are three points of contact that are subjected to the most pressure: two at the back in the ischial area and one at the front in the perineal area. These points vary according to the “size” of the pelvis and themuscle structure. When designing a shell for a saddle, the TRI S PROGRAM aims to identify the different pressure points so that the saddle will suit as many cyclists as possible by increasing the lateral support surface for the bones in the ischiumand designing a central channel far enough forward to relive pressure on the perineum. This study has enabled us to produce a very versatile range of saddles that meets the needs of professional and amateur cyclists with different types of muscle structures and pelvises. This technique has been used to design all the saddles in the TRI collection, including the “Race” and the “S PRO” saddles.
