When do we communicate? Answer to this question is simple: in everyday life. During this training, we will work on appropiate communication model and we will find barriers which can appear during the pro-cess and try to jump over them. The other part will be active listening which is necessary to get familiar with proper communication.

Communication

This training will help you with ‘shaky’ hands and voice which might appear when you stay in front of the group of people and have to give a speech or presentation. Are you leader or scientist? Public speaking skills are your ‘must have’.

Public speaking

Time flies and sometimes we are lost because of it. We have a lot to do but in the end of the day we some-times realise that we did nothing. Time management training will help you to schedule your day and spend the time you have in the most effective way.

Bratislava Placed on the borders with Hungary and Austria, Bratislava was always a multicultural city. The first written note about the city comes from the year 907. Since the end of 13th century, Bratislava became a royal city and since 1563, it was the place where coro-nations of Hungarian kings were held. Bratislava was mainly before but also nowadays a city where people could have spoken three languages – Slovak, Hungarian and German. The population reaches a bit above 400 thousand. On Sundays, you can meet lots of Slovaks travelling across the country from homes to work or study there. It is the heart of the strongest economical region of the country, often in love and hate relationship with the rest of the republic because it concentrates a big amount of job possibilities on the edge of our land. One famous joke is rumoured all the time: Where are all the people from Bratislava over the weekend? In Košice (the se-cond biggest city located in the east). But the only way how to get to know it is the only one: by yourself! You have to climb up to the castle which reminds a chair placed upside down, visit the old city, try halušky – the most traditional food of Slovakia – in one of the restaurants and take a walk on the promenade passing by the river Du-naj. Don´t forget to hop on a bus 39 over the accademic year in the morning if you can manage – it is the most crowded bus in the whole country as it connects our biggest dormitories with the main faculties and universities. Visit the old castle Devín, taste wines on vineyards out of the city in autumn. Experience on your own the rush which is sprinkled in the city and why Bratislava is often so gossiped. Feel welcome in our country!
